Review of R Coffeehouse
R Coffeehouse: a quaint family-owned coffee shop that offers homemade meals, specialty drinks, local art, and live music. This coffee shop is located at 1144 Bitting St, Wichita, KS 67203, nestled in a neighborhood of small entrepreneurs type businesses in old buildings that may have been homes. The shop is open from Monday to Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The atmosphere of R Coffeehouse is enchanting, with an artistic vibe that adds an extra layer of magic. The outdoor seating is a wonderful touch, allowing you to enjoy the great weather while sipping on their delicious coffee and indulging in their delectable food. The menu offers a great variety of options, and everything is superb. The coffee is rich and flavorful, and the food is absolutely delicious. The pancakes are life-altering, and the breakfast sandwiches are some of the best in town.
The staff at R Coffeehouse is welcoming, friendly, and provides excellent service. The coffeehouse also offers a great selection of non-dairy options for those with dietary restrictions. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous.
R Coffeehouse is not just a coffee shop; it is also an art gallery, an internet cafe, and a live music venue. The shop features local art, and the walls are adorned with beautiful paintings and photographs. The live music performances are a great addition to the atmosphere, and the shop is known for hosting talented musicians regularly.
Overall, R Coffeehouse is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for great coffee, food, and a lovely atmosphere. The coffee shop has received many positive reviews from customers who have praised the coffee, food, service, and atmosphere. However, some customers have complained about the coffee's chicory taste and the long wait times for their orders. Despite these minor issues, R Coffeehouse remains a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.

Great food and coffee. Decent prices. Owner(s) are very helpful and polite. Portions are modest and everything is made fresh. The decor is fun and the establishment is very clean.

Top espresso in Wichita! Breakfast tacos are top notch!

I stopped by on my way to work in Salina for a quick cup, I'd give this spot 10 stars if I could. The barista was very friendly, the coffee was great, and Angelo gave me a few tips on what to look for when buying espresso beans for my household. I'll be stopping by every time I'm in Wichita!

Great selection of custom coffee drinks, very chill atmosphere. Finding a good parking spot was tough but we managed. I live an hour away in Hutchinson and am always looking for a good coffee place without the long lines or high prices of Starbucks or Scooter's.

Absolute hidden gem of a coffee and breakfast place nestled in Riverside. The coffeehouse itself is cozy and charming with local art hanging on the walls. The outdoor seating though is absolutely wonderful. With no offense to Wichita, being seated in front of this coffee house in this cute cozy neighborhood makes you feel like you have been transported to another city and another time and place with less hustle and bustle to worry about. The coffee itself was great and they offer unexpected flavor combinations like strawberry banana coffees that still taste great. The food was also wonderful and was prepared fresh in the open kitchen right in front of us. We fully intend to go back.

Been going here since they opened up and I've always loved them. The Rita is my favorite food and the Mexican is my favorite drink. Highly recommend!

Excellent service in a thriving and artsy hood. If you come, you'll likely find nice company. Goods are moderately priced and there is always tasteful and intriguing art displayed for your enjoyment. Sometimes, there are musicians or live artists! Couldn't ask for more from a corner coffee shop!

We went for the first time today. I must say the food was amazing. My wife got chicken mole enchiladas with black beans and rice. I personally hate mole and black beans but I tried hers and was amazed at the richness and flavor. I have to admit that I would eat it. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage covered in gravy and it was delicious. I didn't know if I was going to like the sausage gravy because it has egg, sausage, and bacon in it. It was hearty, seasoned wonderfully, and very creamy and quite amazing. I spoke to the chef and he told me that they change the menu monthly so it doesn't get stagnant. The place is very clean, cool, and eclectic. So in closing, it is definitely a must try and we will be back again and again.

Me and my husband really love this place. The ambiance is great and the coffee is even better. I’m just leaving this in hopes they would maybe go over it with employees. Twice now I’ve gotten coffees that are supposed to be decaf that aren’t. I love the taste of coffee but caffeine makes me feel bad. I get a headache all day and feel really jittery and stressed , which I can handle even though it isn’t fun. My concern is more if someone with a heart condition or other health issues doesn’t get the decaf that they ordered.
