Riverside Cafe

Their biscuits are still fantastic. Sausage gravy has perfect amount of flavor. Extremely friendly staff. (The lady's on staff are as beautiful as they are friendly)

Server was great and if it was just her, I would give it a 5. (She had a guns n roses shirt on, brown hair in a ponytail). The Reuben was great and she went out of her way to do the 1/2 soup and 1/2 sandwich for me! The good experience changed drastically once I got to the front. The lady checking us out was rude, let people go on front of us because she knew them, complained about her job, how busy she was and let someone named Paul sit on the phone so long he hung up and she looked at us and went oh well he will call back. Her attitude was pretty bad (roughly 5'2-5'3, dark brown to black hair and wearing a black shirt today). So, I guess what I am saying is good food, good atmosphere but be prepared at check out for all the good feels to tank.

To be fair, their staff are good. The food was what you could expect from your mama's kitchen. I left home to eat out, not to eat back home! The restaurant wasn't terribly clean, either. Overall, an ok place from which to get to-go dinner.

We were visiting my AF retired brother in law and he highly recommended Riverside for breakfast. We had a great experience! The waitress was the best and breakfast was cooked perfectly. Oh, and the coffee was perfect as well. Thank you so much for a pleasant visit.

Update: I ate here today: 2/7/20-Fri. I wanted to share some pictures. As one can expect the food and service were superb. I had a hot, hearty breakfast.I wanted you to see it for yourself. People are caring, warm & friendly, where you get that down-home-feel. I know the owner, have for years. A family owned and operated restaurant. Good food, good service, good specials and fair pricing. I recommend it for singles, couples or groups.

Ordered delivery through door dash. Ordered a farina burger add bacon. And 2 over easy eggs. Recieved the burger with no toppings INCLUDING THE BACON I PAID FOR. I also didnt recieve my eggs. Tried to eat what i was brought, but to my surprise, my medium rare burger was cooked well done and absolutely flavorless as if the chefs had never been shown where the salt is. Seperately, fries were cold upon arrival and of course, they also had no salt. Disappointing considering i grew up with riverside cafe in north wichita. And this one is far from the same.

I'm so excited that we'll be moving close to this place. It's got that feeling you want when you go for a meal in a small town. I feel like everyone knows everyone and most people probably don't even need to order. My first experience was awesome

This place has a huge menu and great prices. We will definitely be back alot more. Now I know why they stay so busy. There food is amazing and there prices are legit perfect for the amount of food you get. And I mean it's alot of food. Has that hometown feel and very friendly staff.

I was very disappointed. Our food was cold when it came out. And the staff was not very friendly. Everyone look angry. I will stick with going to the one in Wichita. They are amazing.

This is our fourth visit. I enjoy the food and the atmosphere. The waitress were very attentive and polite. :)
