Amazing home style cooking and friendly staff

Fantastic food! Great portions. Speedy service. I'll definitely be back for more! My only complaints are that the service was a little blunt, appetizers came out at the same time as the food and the dishware seems like a random assortment of mismatched home cupboardware.

Just solid food and decent service, old school feel. What more do you need? Come hungry.

I had pork chops and mashed potatoes. Friend had 7 LG piece of fried shrimp. I always like the corn .nuggets.

One of a couple places to eat along main road for breakfast near Enterprise Car Rental (great experience) Cute little cafe. Food was good, plentiful and served promptly. Good coffee. Waitress was excellent; very attentive and didn't rush us out the door. Not many gluten-free options available. Definitely going back if ever in town again.

I am a HUGE fan of Riverside Cafe in Wichita. The food is usually good and fresh and cooked to perfection. This visit I tried the location in Derby. The food was served quickly which was a plus with a restless hungry three year old with me. I ordered a pancake with sausage and eggs and a side of grits. I ordered the eggs to be cooked scrambled very soft. They we're served the opposite...scrambled but very hard and dry, even slightly scorched. The pancakes looked wonderful. Thick and fluffy however when we tried them they were a little too thick.made them hard to swallow. The grit portion was equivalent t to a small.coffee cup. I didn't realize there would only be four teaspoonfuls of grits when I ordered them. The price $4 didn't represent what was served. All in all I still like Riverside cafe just may not visit this location again

Good 'ol greasy diner food with generous portions! Atmosphere is fun and friendly, and they make you feel like family. They take major credit cards. Only been for breakfast, and we definitely took a box home... a bit greasy for my taste, but still pretty yummy. Will try again for lunch and/or dinner!

Breakfast was great you get a lot for your money service great waitress. Will go back again. Update still great service ,always get the Ham and fried potatoes ! Bottom less coffee.

We go there fairly regularly and always get great service and the food is always great!! Highly recommend!!
