Smokey Row Coffee

The parking situation is not ideal due to the drive-thru, but that's absolutely the only complaint I have about my experience here.

They make great coffee, have a very large cafe area with chairs and tables. There are also closed off rooms that you can reserve ahead of time for group projects or small gatherings.

I ordered an iced latte and was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Great place!

Great coffee shop with plenty of seating indoors and out. The service was as good as their coffee! This place is so much better than the big name shops. Parking is a little hard to find but worth it when you do. Definitely going back when in the area.

Really great coffee. Awesome customer service and environment. The beans to take home were very affordable. Loved the giant rice krispie treats and biscuits & gravy. If I'm ever back in Des Moines, this will be one of my first stops!

It's so comfortable and welcoming and convineit for little group meetings like I had today. And it's so nice for the college students. Maybe I'll be going there alot for college studying in the future.

Shared a coffee and stories with a friend and I loved being in there. It was my first time and I felt like i could have stayed the whole time.

Really enjoy coming here earlier in the morning. It can get a bit crowded later in the day but has plenty of seating!

I adore this coffee shop. I used to come here to study and prepare for tests while I was at Drake university. They have a wide selection of food, drinks, and treats available. My personal favorite is their lemon poppyseed muffins, I make sure to grab one every time I'm in Des Moines!

New to the area. I drove by many times. Finally was invited there for lunch. They have a drive through but why would you do that when it's so cozy and retro-hip inside? Good fresh food, Wonderful sweets and of course; excellent coffee. Super Friendly Staff. It Would make a really great venue for a mellow Jazz Duo.

Busy, full of life, sounds, activity. Can study, talk, plan, play games, have meetings, etc while enjoying a hot tea, or cold drink, or cheeseburger soup in a bread bowl. Community piano near the outdoor seating, too.

Excellent, trendy coffeehouse popular with college students and the same behind the counter. The 'Dutch Letter' pastries are amazingly good, a must try!!!
