Beautiful coffee house with a nice menu of food and drinks. The soda fountain is fun also. Service was excellent.

Finally made it. I am satisfied with this place. Food was great, coffee was good and it was busy but I still had a spot to sit. Cool atmosphere. I'll be back for sure.

I bought a veggie wrap and a chai tea and when i start eating it I see a black long hair inside the wrap, I couldn’t believe it was a hair so I pulled it out thinking maybe it was something from the lettuce and it was a hair. I’m so disgusted, Last time I bought the wrap (4 days ago) the lettuce was old with brown spots but I brushed it off because I really liked it… This time there’s a whole black hair inside my wrap? I don’t even want to ever go back for food

Chocolate milk was bland.
Best lemonade ever! Only place I will order/drink 🍋ade from.
Great rice-krispies, either these or Palmers Deli are favorite ones ever. They're absolutely huge, the picture I posted doesn't give a reference point, but they can definitely be shared between 2 people. The only problem is I'm not sure often they are made, because the staff tells me they sell out on the weekends usually. Because most Mondays and Tuedays I'm there, they don't have any. In that case I resort to a chocolate-chip cookie, which are also delicious.
Thankfully, last Wednesday when I stopped by they had plenty of Rice-Krispies available, so I purchased a couple to have throughout the week. So hopefully I didn't give away to much information, and they dont sell out next Wednesday due too this 👍Helpful Review😉

One of those places that has a little bit of everything and can appeal to all members of your party. Ample seating with choices either in the main dining area for larger parties, booths for small groups, a nook in the back good for a study group with seating along the window for the individual cafe visitor, and outdoor seating that's the perfect place to sit and people watch. The coffee was pretty standard fare, but for the amount of drinks, food, ice cream, and more that they're churning out here every second I was impressed by the quality (better than Starbucks, but you're not quite getting the attention you would from a smaller cafe). My coffee cake muffin was moist, heated up, and also above the "chain" standard. If you're looking for a place to get work done, meet up with friends or family, or work on a group project I'd say this is a great spot as long as you don't mind some noise and activity, especially on a weekend.

Smokey Row is two pronged. The abundance of options may be overwhelming, but each option is fantastic in its own right. There truly is something for everyone.

The brick walls, comfortable seating and fast wifi make this an elite Des Moines cafe. Highly recommended!

Here's the thing about Smokey Row: It's utilitarian. When I want something easy and a fun seasonal beverage, I pop through their drive-through. The food is often just nuked. It's not amazing. It just does the job. It's also a good place to get some work done. As long as they stop having overtly religious musical acts perform when people are just trying to work or have a conversation, I like Smokey Row.

Though the parking lot remains a mystery. You'll never know how busy it is judging by how many cars are in the lot. I'm glad they added the second lot, but it's still always full. Yet the restaurant might not be busy. Who knows. It's like the Bermuda Triangle of Parking or something.

Really nice place! They have a lot of space. Different kinds of tables and different areas. Good for all kind and sizes of groups. Almost all the tables have electric outlets to plug your laptops or phones. That’s really nice and helpful.
The place has a really good distribution of spaces that make the place perfect for work or have meetings. The coffee is good and have a good variety of drinks and food.

If you are looking for a meeting room with TV hook up, this is the place. The coffee and snacks are great, the rooms are semi private, and the bathrooms are clean.

Great place to grab a coffee and get some work done on a laptop. The food is hot trash. The eggs were clearly just frozen fake egg discs. Kind of nasty. The biscuits are also gross. Soggy and clearly defrosted. But overall the vibe and environment of the establishment is redeeming, and the coffee is passable.
