Nice coffee shop with a comfortable environment. Very good service with good coffee.

I liked the small plastic soldiers that appeared to be hidden in the coffee shop.

A friend suggested I check out this place. I'm so glad that she did because it is absolutely adorable. It looks as if it had a one-point bend some sort of a mechanics garage or something of that nature. But now it is a comfortable, inviting place where you can settle down on a cozy couch or play a round of checkers with a friend while drinking really yummy coffee. The staff is always friendly I've been there twice now. And I really appreciate the solitude and fun calm of this place. Nobody bothers you, you can do as you please, there is a nice Wi-Fi here. Come alone or come with friends this is a great place to get some work done as well.

During COVID time they made tremendous changes inside. Still great coffee and the ambiance is now light and airy and comfortable, a great place to relax and gather. If you haven’t been recently, go back and check it out!

Glad to have Coal Yard back! A bit of a cleaner atmosphere inside with their remodel, but still the same attention to detail they had before with their drinks. The menu doesn't yet just all their old drinks, but the staff does still know and was able to make some of my old favorites.

I previously came to this cafe and really enjoyed it! This time only one employee consistently wore their mask. Not only that, but the mask policy was not enforced on other guests or seemingly other employees/business associates, though on the door it said masks are required. Definitely an uncomfortable experience for a new customer, especially taking into account that Marion County is still in a mask mandate, and it’s especially important to be safe in the food service industry.

My partner and I came to this little gem of a coffee shop last Saturday with his family. There were two young people working the shift, it got rather busy and they handled the rush like Champs. This shop has beautiful and eclectic artwork, delicious honey to go with your herbal tea, and they play old cartoons that I used to watch when I was 10. Betty boop, and Bugs bunny, and Elmer fud. I had such a good time at their establishment and the cartoons gave it an air of nostalgia that I hadn't experienced in a bit. Definitely a must visit for a Saturday!

This a delightful little place. Wonderful artwork by local artist. Friendly comfortable feels like home atmosphere I absolutely love this place! Been going there for years it's better than Starbucks! A shout out to David in the Michelle good job guys love it.
