Love the coffee love the people and love the vibe. Nothing like getting coffee right by the roaster it's roasted in. Freshest coffee in town. đź’ž

I hate to rate 1 star but my husband and I just stopped in about 20 minutes ago (about 8:30 am on a Wednesday) and no one was there…. No employees were anywhere to be found. I even rang the bell on the counter a few times and we waited for 5 minutes and no one appeared, so they lost our business.

I found this place a few weeks ago. I am a local to Irvington and I can’t believe it took me this long to discover Coal Yard! Their coffee is always amazing. Wide variety of syrup flavors to add to drinks plus extremely affordable prices. The prices beat Starbucks and Landlocked! Staff is always extremely friendly and welcoming. This is definitely becoming my new spot.

Great atmosphere, delicious blueberry muffin. It was so moist. I'll be back again

Looking for an experience? Look no further. Kinda hit this spot by accident and ain't mad about it. Where else can you stock up on witchy goods and hand-crafted jewelry while you sip your fav espresso beverage? Probably nowhere else but here. A true one-of-a-kind! đź‘Ť

If you love little whole in the wall establishments, you will love this place. We found it on a whim, walked in the door, and fell in love. It's fun and funky, the staff are absolutely lovely. The entertainment they had for the second Saturday was a pleasant surprise and the coffee was exactly what we were looking for. We will absolutely be going back.

The old place was awesome.
This is a local, oddball coffee joint and I used to love it. They were kind, fun and irreverent with great coffee. They moved to bigger digs about 1/2 mile away and man are they rude now. It kills me.

Stopped in today on my way to EZ E-Bike Rentals. This coffee shop is along an old abandoned railway that was turned into an urban renewal project called the Pennsy Trail. One of the ladies @ the coffee shop today told me about the origin of the shop and this place is really cool. It reminds me of Soma Coffee in Bloomington but with even more weirdness. *that's a good thing IMO - Definitely come in if you are looking for something different than your typical corporate coffee chain. ;)
