This is our favorite place in Fort Wayne! We often come here for brunch but more significantly it was the place of our first date. They have amazing food and impeccable service. The staff are always so kind. The Milk Punch cocktail is a must try. Their flavored mimosas at brunch are also tasty.
We recently went for Valentine’s Day and tried their weekly specials. The dessert was a chocolate cake and peanut butter mouse dipped in chocolate and paired with a dessert port. It was like eating a fancy, rich Reese’s. Cannot recommend this place enough!

What a great find! My husband and I visited on January 9 and were lucky enough to have Walker as our bartender/server. The service, food and drinks were outstanding. As a vegan I was impressed with the options and how knowledgeable the staff (particularly Walker) was in customizing the dishes.

Kari was so kind and thoughtful when we were booking a large party reservation. I’m so thankful for her help! Once we got there we had a few minor hiccups with our food order. It was quickly corrected and it was absolutely delicious!! Great experience and great food!

My husband and I were not impressed. We had some high expectations and we were disappointed with the lack of class, seasoning, and sloppy plating. For the price we were expecting a lot more. Our waiter was friendly, but I think new and not very knowledgeable about the menu. We would have a hard time coming back.

Unique and delicious food, very attentive and knowledgeable staff, and nice abiance. Got the duck tamales, and the carnitas tostado, the latter of which is my favorite. I ordered this assortment of seafood on saphron rice and the girlfriend had the Cuban Chicken with rice, beans and plantains. Honestly our waiter knew exactly how each item was made and several facts about the history of the dish. He checked in on us 5 times (spread out nicely) and each coarse was perfectly timed to come out.

I was pretty impressed by this place. The hardest part was deciding what to get. They have four menus and everything sounded good. Plus, they are a scratch kitchen and can whip up pretty much whatever you'd like, allowing personalized orders. I got the attached picture for about $19. That would be double anywhere else. It was delicious. I look forward to returning to try more of their food!

What an experience!?!
We enjoyed an amazing brunch with the assistance from our server, Mr. Will.
With three adults and two children, one child who really wanted to spaghetti. She was the only one not satisfied until Will, at the request of my brother, brought her a romesco sauce that made her day!!!
From the initial sitting to the Banana Nut Bread to each entrée and even my Cranberry Peach Mimosa. Everything was delicious!! Service was wonderful and I will be returning!!

We went for brunch this summer and had the stuffed French toast and the triple meat tacos. Excellent service and food! Will be back to try the dinner offerings.

Update - Finally made it back for dinner offerings. Had the scallops diablo and it was amazing! My only complaint was that it needed more Diablo sauce. Our waitress quickly delivered more and the heat was very pleasant with the rice and crab. Glad to see these guys killing it. Highly recommend coming for birthdays as well since all the desserts we have tried were great! Churro and chocolate cake all the way.

Brunch at Proximos was delightful. We started with a couple Bloody Marys with blue cheese stuffed olives and Tuna Tiradito to tantalize our tastebuds. Our brunch dishes included Crab Chilaquiles and Peruvian Saltado. I ordered the Crab Chilaquiles with an over medium egg instead of sunny side up like the dish describes, which had to be returned to the kitchen because they brought it with a sunny side up egg. This is the only complaint and the reason for a four-star rating, otherwise I would have given a five-star rating. The food was delicious! We will eat here again.
