Good coffee, good macarons, and an excellent cat selection. Blood loss was minimal, and well within acceptable limits. Remember: just because a cat rolls on its back, this should not be construed as an invitation to rub its belly.

My oldest loves this place! The cats are really friendly.

Love their macaroons! I adopted a cat here named Sushi and she’s the sweetest thing ever!! Will always recommend 💕

I love the place! I got the maple butter brewed coffee, made with actual butter and it was so delicious. I also had four macaroons (peppermint, fruity pebbles, honey lavender, Ferrero Rocher and they were very delicious! The staff is amazing, knowledgeable, and very friendly. It cost just a few dollars to enjoy some time with an adoptable kitty, it is a partnership with the Vanderburg Humane Society as well!

I'm only taking away one star because I feel that we were rushed out of the room before our time was up. It's also a little small in the room you have to pay, which wasn't an issue as we went at a non busy time. The coffee I had was really good. It was just an iced coffee with vanilla. My friend had a smoothie, it was okay. Everyone was really friendly and they even made an exception for my daughter, who is younger than their rule of 6yrs+. I thought that was really sweet. It's a really cool place and it's nice that they post pictures of the cats who have found homes! Now someone go adopt River!! He's such a sweet handsome kitty!! I see people complaining about prices, but you must understand that most of their proceeds go to the VHS.

The employees were unnecessarily hostile and demeaning. Especially as someone who has volunteered at multiple shelters and humane associations herself and already has three cats, you should never assume clients/customers don’t know what they’re doing. Don’t know if he was just having a bad day, but treating customers poorly for no reason is never acceptable.

The cafe was clean and well decorated and the cats were wonderful. My issue is with the staff and the signage. This was my first time visiting and I had no knowledge of anything there. When I arrive with my toddler I’m rudely greeted by a blonde barista. She was rude throughout my original transaction and kept glaring at my daughter. I brushed it off as I know some people are uncomfortable around kids and we enjoyed our treats before going in. The coffee and macarons are delicious! We go to head into the cat room and as we’re halfway through the door she screams “you can’t just sneak in there like that. It’s stealing!”. Myself and all the other customers who were present were shocked. I said that I didn’t realize there was a fee and would just pay it. I would’ve left as I was very offended but my daughter was excited to meet the cats so I stayed. She said, “well you should’ve. It’s (whatever the price was) per person” in a rude tone and glared at me through the entire transaction. She said we had 30 minutes and we went in. The cats were amazing and obviously well taken care of. The rules for the room were strict and I’m glad that they were there for the cats’ comfort. My daughter had fun with them and it was a relaxing experience in there. It would’ve been more relaxing if I didn’t catch her glaring at me again through the window on occasion. The reoccurring glares ended up causing me to leave earlier than I had to. I was going to adopt a cat today but will go with a different shelter. I do hope Holly gets adopted soon. She seems to be a very sweet cat.
Overall the facility was wonderful and the products and cats were great. There definitely needs to be customer service training implemented and proper signage posted in obvious areas. I may visit this establishment again after this sour experience leaves my mind, but, as of right now, I will not be coming back.
P.S. The other barista was fine and very nice. It was specifically the blondish haired one that I had an unnecessary issue with. I don’t want her to be fired because she obviously cares about the job but I think that more training needs to be implemented.

This place is amazing to me ! There are so many cute playful cats in one place!(: All of the cats are adoptable. The cats with the blue collars are boys and the red collars are girls. You can pay $6 to spend time with the cats for 30 minutes or $8 to stay for an hour. I went for an hour and the time flew by! All of the cats have their name on their collars and the staff seem to know each cat really well even though they usually get adopted with in a few weeks. I also had a Carmel coffee macaroon while I was there that was AMAZING.

Love it! Good selection of drinks. Wonderful kitties! Love that you can spend time with them before deciding to adopt. Will most definitely return!
