Love River Kitty Cat Cafe! The cats are fun to watch. Nice wine selection! The sweets are very fresh and delicious. This place is a service of love for the kitties and every decision is based on their wellbeing. I've seen this piss a few folks off who come in thinking it is all about them. Not so! At this place cats are the Kings and Queens!!!

I am so impressed by this little cafe. It was hard to find at first, but once you know where it is it is easy to find again and again! They are a little pricey, but as the majority of money goes to the kitties, I can't complain! The employees are really nice and the drinks are swell. I really love their cat room and gift shop. And their rescued kitty wall! So sweet. I will certainly be back!

Although not our first visit, I thought a review was warranted after reading some of the (very few) negative reviews. I have had my kids in here several times and have never had any negative visits. But I also supervise my children too. Everyone there has been super nice & attentive...even as my 5 old yr took forever deciding on a treat. While we have never went into the room, we enjoy watching the kitties from the very comfortable sitting area. And honestly some of the best press coffee I’ve had in Evansville as well.

Took a special trip to River Kitty from KY to visit the Cafe. However when we got there after purchasing some of their macaroons and wine were told we weren't allowed to see the kitties because there was an $8 per person. My mother, myself, and my 2.5 daught and 5 year old son. The man working specifically said my daughter was "too wild and would scare the cats downstairs". My daughter wasn't wild. She was standing at the glass anxious to see their cats. After breaking the news to her she understandably got upset and grabbed a cat bed. The man scolded her and told her not to get the bed dirty. I mean, I get it. But she had it for 2 seconds. I took it away and apologized. I wouldn't suggest this place for a family or for anyone with children. If you are legitimately looking for a cat to join the family don't go here. Go to your local animal shelter and adopt. This place isn't for a family setting. More for people not looking for a cat who want to pay $8 to sit with them for 30 mins.

It's for charity ,which is cool, but I am not into the hipster type place, overpriced everything. I took the kid to pet the cats, but they rope the parent into paying admission also,which I don't feel is fair if all they are doing is making sure the kid don't get hurt. To be transparent, I'm a tight wad, so take this review with a grain of salt.

Nancy is most helpful and very sweet! The baristas are the best too, + over 600 adoptions!! This place is completely meownificent😉

I was so excited to see the kitties and the staff especially the older woman was so rude to me. I was visiting from out of town. I have 8 kitties of my own so I'm a big cat lover. That woman absolutely ruined my experience. Sadly I will not be back. I wanted to leave as soon as I ordered my drink. But I stayed to see the kitties. I've never been treated so bad. I hope everyone else has a better experience.

This place is amazing! Adorable cats, love that they're all adoptable. They have a great play area for the kitties. The cafe has good variety and the gift shop has adorable items. Also provides a very relaxed atmosphere for anyone who just wants to hang out.

The smallness of the location is what put me off of the place. It was hard to walk around with just 5 other customers inside. Their drinks were delicious if a bit pricey. The staff were wonderful and the facility was kept very clean. I loved playing with the cats, but paying for 15 minutes of interaction was a bit disapointing. However, the cat's comfort and wellbeing are the staff's main concern, so I can't really complain about how they limit the interactions.
