This is my new favorite coffee shop! I was a little skeptical about coming here, but this place blew me away. The staff is great, the decor is beautiful, and the cats are taken care of so well!
I love that the staff explains the mission as well as the way everything works for new customers. I’m also excited about the new morning hours! River Kitty Cat Cafe is definitely worth a visit!

I come here quite a bit as a interesting thing to do or to bring out-of-towners. They have a coffee, smoothie, and wine/beer menu that is see a lot of people getting and choosing to not hangout in the cat room. I typically pay for the half hour allotment with the cats, but they have an hour allotment, too. As a cat person, I do not expect a performance from the cats and I am glad they have a minimum age to chill with the kitties. Since this place is owned by the humane society, they care about the cats first and if they played Soylent Green I'd be a supporter of that, too.

A cute Cafe with an awesome mission!! We had some of the delicious macarons, coffee and spent a little extra to visit with kitties!! Quiet setting, excellent food and drinks, and if you don't want to actual enter the kitty area, they still provide entertainment through the viewing windows!! Employees are either Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) employees or volunteers and the kitties are adopted through VHS or animal control!! Great concept and mission!!

I absolutely love River Kitty! I fell in love with my cat Yang there. The staff are always kind and welcoming. The cats are adorable and the cafe food/drinks are scrumptious. I recommend anyone and everyone to visit this cafe.

My sister and I were in town for family reasons - from Alabama and Minnesota. We needed something to do before flights and decided to head over to this place to kill some time. First ever cat cafe experience. This place is wonderful. The best part: The owners care so much about these animals and have proven that through adoption numbers from their cafe. Not to mention, drinking great coffee while enjoying the kitties. I'd rate this place 1000 times if I could.

Adorable business with cats on display playing and available for adoption through the local Humane Society. My granddaughter and daughter took me there and I loved it. Nice place to drink coffee and have a light snack or dessert with it while you watch the kitties play.

It's such a great place it's extremely obvious the workers and owners genuinely care. I've been going with my S.O since a week after they opened the doors so I know what to expect yet I'm still surprised at everything about this place.
Even if you don't go into the cat room just hanging out drinking a coffee or wine is so relaxing and chill.
The "cats adopted" wall is a great touch too :)

My younger sister and I had a GREAT DAY at River Kitty Cat Cafe. We played with cats in cat room with our coffees. Then enjoyed watching other people enjoying themselves with the cats while we had delicious treats. Very enjoyable and stress free afternoon. My second Mothers Day there. The staff was awesome and hard working and very nice!

It's a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The cat lounge is comfortable and laid back. It's a neat communal experience, playing with kitties while chatting with other patrons about our love of cats. The café side is nice, too, with fun decor, plenty of charging stations, and yummy treats. Definitely worth a visit!

I'm in love with this place. I finally got to stop in while in Evansville on business. Not only were they open until 8, but it was happy hour so you could have wine and kitty cuddles after a long day. You can opt for $6/30 minutes or $8/per hour to spend in the cat room. The night I went, I got to meet 9 cats and 2 adorable babies who wanted to play. Best of all, the kitties are adoptable in partnership
