After a few visits it's time to write a review and a few suggestions. It's great to have this new coffee shop in Wilmette, it was needed as demonstrated by the fact that is always busy. Coffee is generally good (please change the sugar dispenser, the diner style does just fit the place nor is easy to use, for instance the brown sugar gets stuck because of the humidity), the small selection of pastries is great for a continental breakfast. I'm sure in the future there will be more options but for the moment it's fine. One suggestion, keep open longer :), it's nice to have a coffe place open in the afternoon that is not Starbucks. It's nice to see young staff employed.

A new regular place for me. Love it. Great art as well.

Stumbled out of the rain this morning to a brightly lit fresh new coffee place in Wilmette. Katie and team were very nice for 6:30 a.m. Looks like they've got a big selection of bakery items. I am writing about my iced coffee—cheaper than a starbucks grande by 10 percent, and tastes better. Not sure what the blend was, but it was smokey and rich. Nice work @centralstationcoffee

I love that this place opened and is in downtown Wilmette but their coffee is terrible. If they can simply improve their iced/hot coffee and not charge 130% on Hewn bakery items, this place would be great.

What an amazing addition to Wilmette. Great space, inside and out. They’ve got the beans. Love their cold brew the most. Katie couldn’t be kinder and put together a better shop.

Just ordered a ham and cheese sandwich and latte. Sandwich had mustard, arugula (allergic) that was not mentioned on the sandwich board.

Lovely cafe in downtown Wilmette

Bright and inviting spot. This was my first visit. Coffee was a little thick and on the muddy side. I was there late in the day and suspect the coffee would have been fresher earlier. Will return to give it another try

Kate, a lively blonde, leads a team of young women, making every kind of coffee-drink, in a bright, spacious room, surrounding a high, marble bar at Central Station, steps from the Metra and PACE stops at Wilmette and Central avenues in Wilmette. I enjoy 4 shots of espresso, with cheeerful and prompt service.
