Philz Coffee

The Plant Powered Sandwich is pretty good. Its very hot so allow it to air out. The contents inside (plant sausage and JUST EGG) will slip out while eating so it can be a little tricky. The sandwich itself is also pricey at $9.25, but it was worth a try. Coffee is a little bitter so best served with cream and sugar.

-1 star for value and eh plain black coffee, but nice service and seating.

Great place. I love Philz. I especially like the aesthetic of this location and wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the airy and spacious seating area. Coffee was phenomenal. You can really taste the difference here.

First time coming to Philz and loved it! The cashier made great suggestions and the barista made my friends’ drink so good she is still talking about it lol.

I got chamomile tea which was delightful and she got something that tasted like toasted marshmallow but it was vegan.

Nice aesthetic, comfy couch and good space! Ordered a iced coffee Rose with oat milk- slightly watery but still pretty good.

i have lived next to here for half a year and finally decided to try it out and am wondering why i did not sooner. the place is v cute and quaint, i could see myself doing my work from here. It’s pretty quiet and there is lots of sun from the big windows. I got the coffee rose, a floral, roasted cold brew. It’s sweet but feels like a natural sweetness and you can still taste the coffee clearly. i would 100% order this again. If you are someone who does not like floral tasting beverages (like lavender, rose, etc) this may not be for you. the philz iced tea is also very refreshing. lastly, the staff was helpful with recommendations and really kind ! :) their menu is wide and i will definitely be coming back !

BEST coffee! Philz sets itself apart by their approach to coffee - with lively staff and quality coffee, Philz is my favorite coffee place. I have been getting the Iced Rosé the "house way" for the past 4 years. This location has wifi and great seating. Every barista I've interacted with at this location has been warm and enthusiastic, genuinely. I've spent a lot of time here and appreciate the cleanliness, acceptance, and of course the coffee. Personally, I'd love to see more food options but their coffee is so good I don't even mind.

Great casual coffee place. The beans are freshly ground for each cup ensuring smooth deep flavor. They also offer some pastries and teas. The staff is also really friendly and awesome to hit up for custom coffee blend suggestions.

Good atmosphere. Service has sped up some. It would be nice to have real cups instead of paper if you don't want to leave. The chai tea is good and they have oat milk. The staff is nice. Happy to support a place owned by a Palestinian! 🇵🇸 #freepalestine ❤️

Phab! Phylz is top notch Evanston coffee vibe. Wide open space, simple simon pour over coffees w complex flavors. Tesora w hint of honey and heavy cream so yummy!

My favorite coffee place in Evanston! I've gone both in-person and ordered out, and the quality is consistently excellent. The employees are very friendly and helpful, and the building itself is also clean and nice.
