The place and environment is very clean and charming. Great to relax and spend time with a friend. My daughter’s iced matcha latte was very good. Hot chocolate was fine.
I had higher hopes for the coffee (if it was the the coffee alone I was rating I would give it a 3/5). I ordered a small latte with oat milk. You can tell that they use a nice coffee, but felt like my drink had too much milk as I could barely taste the coffee behind it. My wife ordered a medium one and the coffee was even harder to taste.
The potential for this place to stand out in the area is high given that there are barely nice coffee shops in the area.

Loved the atmosphere here. The coffee was also great. A little too sweet for my liking but I’ll ask for half a pump next time!
The young boy who took my order was professional and sweet. Would come again!

Central St is a spectacular coffee shop right down town Wilmette. Coffee is great, bakery items are always on point and the staff is SO NICE! Highly recommended.

A fresh and calming neighborhood coffee shop that matches the distinctive charm of Wilmette. From the rustic, vintage ceiling to the modern accents and tabletops, this café is the perfect place to enjoy artfully created lattes, mochas, and tea. For either one or two, or more!

Wonderful coffee shop with great tasting coffee and tea and with great atmosphere in the middle of downtown Wilmette.

Such a cute little shop. We live in South East Chicago. We saw shop on the map on our way to North West Illinois. We wanted to try this little spot. We support small businesses. It was so nice. Staff is very sweet, the atmosphere is lovely, and the coffee was great. I had the iced "Chicagoan." it was so good!

Mixed feelings. They have great settings in the back and front , friendly staff, and delicious pastries. The service was a bit off. Not bringing knife or cream for coffee but they were very nice about it when we asked for few things and they brought it all. Will try in future again to advise the notes.

If you look up "perfect coffee shop" in the dictionary, there would be a picture of this one. Didn't rate food because I have not tried it but if it's half as good as the coffee, it will be great!

I visit this delicious coffee shop once a month when I get the car washed down the street. Today I rolled on in on my scooter (broken foot) and made my order with Kate. Even though the shop was busy Kate was smiling and patient. There was a long wait for coffee I needed to leave. Kate graciously offered to escort me and my order back to car wash. Wow! Wow! Wow! She dropped everything to help. Even put the coffees in my cup holders. My experience has carried through my morning. Her thoughtfulness = joy. When I arrived home I saw she slipped a gift card in to my order. Dang girl that is customer service. Kate for president!! Many thanks, Alyssa

I was in the area for a swim race and decided to try this place out! This is in such a nice downtown area and was a perfect place to go on a nice summer day. The inside of it was super cute and very well set up. It appears this place recently opened. Lots of seating both inside and outside. I was greeted very nicely by the workers and got my drink in a timely manner. The coffee I got was a large vanilla iced latte with soy milk and it was delicious. I took my coffee and walked around town and found a farmers market going on nearby which was neat to see. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend this place!
