Perfect TACOS!! I’m a taco lover and this place has become part on my favorite list, delicious food, good guacamole and great margaritas.. The Patio is awesome, best place to eat.

Absolutely delicious! We have steak, fish, & shrimp tacos and they were a taste sensation!! Elotes, guac, and margaritas were perfect! Outside seating was wide open and the staff was super friendly! Could be the margaritas taking but I loved my experience here!

I love this place! Dining in is wonderful, the staff are great and the menu is delicious. I've never had a taco I haven't liked here, they are all wonderfully balanced and delicious. In the pandemic I've been working from home, but I sorely miss taking the train where I would stop at the walk-up taco window. If you are doing takeout, order from their website directly!

Stopped by for the first time this evening to take part in a fundraiser benefitting the Rotary Club of Evanston Nouveau, and was so happy with the experience! The outdoor seating area is a great place to hangout with friends and family, the staff were all friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing! I have no complaints about any of the items we ordered - the flavors of each taco were so balanced, and the portions felt very generous for the price. I'll certainly be back for more!

They are having issues with the pick up. My order said “Ready for pickup in 25 minutes”. It took them 1h. The “pick up” experience was bad. The woman opened the window, put the food there and closed it. Not very nice. And in my order the receipt says a pick up time that is not correct.

This is one of the best authentic Mexican venues in the Chicago land area. Had the wonderful mezcal. Margarita. Chiccarrones, guacamole, and an assortment of street tacos. The sauces are fabulous and some of them nuclear level hot. Service was impeccable and warm. Facility was nicely arranged and quite busy on a Wednesday evening. I'm happy that la principal is back and stronger than ever!

I cannot get enough of their pozole soup.

The pescado taco was phenomenal, and all tacos ordered were delicious. Service was pretty good, though I don't think our waitress heard my fiance's order correctly, as he only got 2/3 tacos he ordered (wasn't on receipt, so we assumed she just did not hear the third request).

Can be a little pricey, but might come back to try a drink during happy hour, as they looked great!

Great dinner with friends and our kids to benefit Connections for the Homeless for Taco Tuesday! Everything was delicious, but my favorite was the shrimp taco. Service was terrific (thanks Miles and Martha!) The kids all ate a ton and everyone was happy. Plus we got to do something meaningful for our community. Thanks La Principal, we'll be back for more!
