Harbaugh's Cafe

I’ve been here several times over the last 10+ years at different phases in my life, but this place is so consistent. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. You really can’t go wrong with a trip to Harbaugh’s. It’s definitely one of those places that sticks in the back of your mind if you leave the Carbondale area. It’s a good day if you’re getting to eat here. Family friendly, student friendly, everyone friendly.

Since at least the late 90s, it's always been delicious, and in the same location for as long as I've eaten there. Any time I'm visiting friends in Carbondale, I have to eat there at least once. Great vegetarian options and amazing dishes for carnivores!

It was crowded but there was no wait on a Thursday at 11:30. I had a breakfast burrito and slice of french toast. I really liked both. If I'm in the area again, I'll eat there again.

Great place for breakfast. One member of our party was gluten free. Staff was very knowledgeable and very accommodating. Food was awesome. Nice atmosphere. Would definitely go back when in town.

I cannot rave about this place enough. My girlfriend and I go here nearly every Sunday and get breakfast and our day is always better for doing so. The inside of the restaurant is very interesting and unique and the staff is very friendly. The food is fantastic, although I always get the breakfast food though they have other options.

Outstanding breakfast. Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Had the biscuits and gravy. Also had seasoned potatoes and eggs over medium. Very well prepared. Would definitely have breakfast there again..

Always a favorite breakfast spot. Food is consistently good, wait staff are quick and friendly and decor is charming.

There we were, it was a cold April somewhat sunny Sunday morning. A friend and I showed up about 6 minutes before two other friends. With the place pretty full we were happy to see we were next to be seated. Then were told that we couldn't be seated because of our incomplete party. While we watched 5+ tables sit around chatting for 15+ minutes after they ate. Which was totally acceptable.. but we can't even sit down for 5-6 minutes waiting for our friends. Meanwhile, five parties come in and are now in front of us. Not going again. No restaurants have such a ridiculous rule.

Love this place. A Quite eclectic atmosphere friendly staff and quick, delicious food. I recommend the eggs Benedict. Not the best I've ever had, but it's damn fine. And the coffee is pretty good too.
