Harbaugh's has been my favorite Carbondale spot for the past 6 years. This weekend was the last opportunity I had to come here since we moved away, but this place is filled with amazing food, staff, and atmosphere. This may be the only thing I miss about Carbondale

The vibe is cool. The people are awesome. The food is outstanding. I had the Wisconsin omelette with home fries and bacon and coffee. The omelette was fluffy and light and delicious. Winston the Bagel Man (retired) recommended Harbaugh's and he was 100% correct!
Edit to add: my friend and I are from Nashville and St. Louis; would 10/10 recommend Harbaugh's to out-of-town visitors

Excellent food. All of the omelettes were huge and very delicious. It’s a cozy spot and a local favorite. Parking is tricky in the back. The place is clean and the staff fantastic !! This is THE place for brunch in Carbondale.

Terrific experience today! Biscuits and gravy and eggs were perfect. French vanilla coffee was great. To top it off the server Mo was cheerful and pleasant.

Harbaugh's is one of my favorite, family-owned breakfast diners in Carbondale! The hospitality is wonderful, the restaurant is always clean and the food never disappoints! I love their biscuits & gravy, blueberry pancakes and their eggs! Also, their prices are decent as well!

Went camping near by. Dropped by for breakfast before we left, so glad we did. Eggs Benedict was perfect, fluffy pancakes, and really great service. 10/10 would recommend if you are driving through.

Best restaurant in Southern Illinois, period. I eat lunch here at least twice a week and never get tired of their menu. Lots of different options and every dish is fantastic, from the eggs and pancakes to the sandwiches to even the salads. Always excellent service too.
