My wife and I went to Hawaii for our honeymoon and this was the best coffee we had during our stay. The owner was very friendly and knowlegable!

Best coffee in Hawaii. Bryan’s is as devoted to his customers as he is his craft. While making the coffee right in front of us he was really engaging and made sure to build a friendly welcome atmosphere, not to mention the coffee was amazing. Highly recommend getting black coffee with a lava shot since that’s his favorite. Great experience!

Amazing attention to detail on drinks and the cake is just out of this world.

Overall, very cute shop, but VERY expensive for everything (for example, they wanted $5 to BUY a token tour token, which is supposed to be given as a reward for seeking out and patronizing small businesses). Cold brew was $8. Worth stopping by if you're into super well-made coffee (and there is not much else in the area) but felt a little gougey.

I love this place! Good coffee, not the corporate average schtuff. The Lava shot is amazing. Cozy, light and airy place to chill, with great staff.

If I were local to big island, I would definitely be a daily regular here. Quite possibly one of my favorite coffee experiences to date. Great welcoming warm atmosphere that begs you to take your time and simply enjoy. Brian seems to know every local by name and carries conversation with ease and intention! We meant to make a coffee pit stop on our way to the national park but found ourselves wanting to sit around and chat. We even ended up enjoying a box of Mochi donuts from next door too. It’s a must stop for any coffee lover :)

The best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. No exaggeration. Brian, the owner, was wonderful to talk with and his coffee knowledge is unparalleled. Have patience though as all good things don’t happen fast.

Cannot recommend this place enough! The owner and staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us a full pour over experience and answered a ton of our questions about their process. They even showed us a ton of black and white photos from the area in the early 1900s. The coffee was absolutely delicious, and the sipping chocolate was to die for! Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

This is a specialty coffee shop where you can taste premium and experimental coffees, learn about them, and just hang out.

The purveyor, Brian, was exceedingly knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. Rebecca, the other pourer there, was very skilled and hospitable. I really recommend taking the time to just sit and enjoy your time there.

In terms of 5 stars, I feel many places get 5 stars just if it's clean and the product is good, but there are so many things about this shop and the experience here that elevate it far beyond what a simple 5 stars can express.

In the most enthusiastic terms: please come and support this shop and enjoy what they have to offer there.

We stumbled in from the pouring rain and were blown away by the hospitality. Roasted marshmallows in front of our kids to put on top of their hot chocolate, put Mary Poppins on the record player, and offered games and puzzles. We played chess and enjoyed the company of others in the shop while drinking the most incredible double espresso that he custom made. Truly a highlight of our trip to Big Island.
