This is a must visit when coming to Lihue! Best Loco Moco in Hawaii. This place makes the most perfect over easy eggs! Their pancakes here are also very good! Fluffy and delicious. The service here is efficient, they come over to your table, take your order and the food will be there in less than 15 minutes! The wait can be long depending on the day and time so be prepared for that. A must visit !!

Absolutely the worst breakfast I've had for the price in a long, long time... maybe EVER! My adult son agrees. It was $32.31 for two VERY SMALL breakfasts like the one depicted, plus two pancakes and tap water. We finished our food in three minutes flat, and we will (must) go elsewhere to eat now, because we're still hungry. If I could give a only quarter-star, I would.

firstly, the people that work here are so sweet and kind! secondly, the rooms are a lot nicer and cleaner than i expected. our room had brand new vinyl flooring, a nice tiled shower (with great water pressure), an AC unit, and a comfortable king bed, all for $130! what a deal. not only that, but the cafe downstairs has great and affordable food for everyone! would have stayed here my whole trip if i could have.

It was busy when we were here. Service was good. I had the loco moco. Rice, burger patty, fried egg, and gravy all in one bowl (sorry my pic is out of focus). It was DELICIOUS! Never had it before. Wife had fried chicken. I tried some and it was equally good. They obviously concentrate on good food and not decor since place is a bit bare. But when the food is great, who cares! Right?

The review is about the motel: it’s great value for money .. most of the other motels were double/triple the price. The rooms are small, doesn’t have a microwave.. but has air conditioning. The location is great.. Walmart/kfc/subway/ everything is within walking distance. Satisfied with the stay considering its price :)

Great local restaurant with big kahuna sized proportions. Their famous oxtail soup is great, sort of a mix of oxtail and pho soup. Had their Yokozuna Bento and Fried Rice Loco Moco, really good and filling. A big plus if you like rice, it practically comes with every dish. Don't mind the long lines, they move fairly quickly.

Good pancakes, good breakfast bento. I have heard the best ox tail soup on the island. Waitresses are quick. Their consistency with regards to their food is hard to beat on Kauai.

4.5. We had to try the ox tail soup. That was very good. Also did an order of Hawaiian French toast and an order of the fried corn beef hash. Both were above average. Prices were great.

Went to the cafe, didn't stay at the motel. My husband and I both got coffee and loco moco with fried rice. The coffee was fantastic. The loco moco tasted great, but our eggs came out fully fried when we'd asked over easy and I found a sizable egg shell in mine (like an inch long by a quarter inch). We heard great things from a local working at our hotel, so maybe it was just an off day.

Any time my good is out to me less than a minute after I order, I’ll question it. Pancakes had no flavor. And McDonalds style hashbrowns should never be in a sit down restaurant . Just not worth the price, even a little bit.
