The only good thing about this place is the scenery. The beach in front of the hotel isn't the cleanest in my opinion. The thing I hated the most is the service!! The staff is friendly but if you need something YOU have to go to the lobby for it. For example, I needed an iron for clothes and I had to go get it. They aren't cleaning rooming because of Covid which I understand but at least put 120% more effort to please your customers in other ways at least. In addition to that, there's no ac only the ceiling fan so good luck with the humidity. They have the mentality that you can sleep with the sliding doors opened to get air but the the sliding door vent doesn't even lock!!!! Soooo 2 stars it is!

This place is right next to the ocean. We loved hearing the waves as we fell asleep. It is clean and nice and in a great location. You can easily walk to restaurants and shops. It's in a Central location on the island. They had bikes that we could use and they had a nice grab and go breakfast which was helpful. People there are pleasant and we enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this place and hope to be back again one day!

Highly recommend this hotel. Amenities are very thoughtful. The morning yoga is a nice touch and the free breakfast doesn’t hurt.
The location is right on the water and could not be better, especially the gorgeous sunrise views. They give you these souvenir water bottles and have a water bottle filling station so we didn’t end up buying tons of plastic bottles.
The rooms do not have an air conditioner though, we were there in January and didn’t need it with the cool, ocean breeze.

Kauai was our last stop on our island hopping and we got a deal to stay at the ISO. The pictures on the review pages we saw made the rooms seem like a nice stay.

We got to the front desk for check in and the worker at the time wasn't very welcoming but it didn't matter I wasn't going to make much of it. We were gifted with plastic water bottles which you could refill at their water station. Yes, giving plastic bottles that you probably won't take with you after your stay is bad but at least you could refill them?

The room we got was on the third floor with a king bed & ocean view. Like others have mentioned there are no elevators and no AC. The no elevators part was a little annoying when having to carry luggage up to the room but I've done that before at other places, oh well. The no AC part was a little inconvenient some of the nights when the breeze just wasn't cutting it. Otherwise, the 1 fan and the sliding door & window let some pleasant breeze in. The rooms are clean and the room itself is not bad for what it is and the bathrooms are also kept clean. The shower head pressure does lack power though.

The continental breakfast is just juice, milk, cereal boxes, little pastries, toast, coffee, & yogurt. It's okay but we only had it once we wanted to experience a better breakfast. There are roosters/chickens near the hotel but it's Hawaii they are everywhere.

Overall, this place is what you expect when you see pictures of it. It's not a big chain hotel stay so you can't expect all the great amenities of them. We didn't experience much noise during our stay except for some roosters in the morning.

Staff is polite, restaurant the bullshed is terrible, staff is rude, unruly group of wait staff when we asked for a manager because of how terrible our server Brianna was we were told to leave. I wouldn't go back to eat here for a million dollars.

Awesome, clean, minimal, and breezy room, and the perfect location for our first night to get our bearings. Staff is great and very accommodating, and the free breakfast hit the spot. The free water filtration station in the lobby was a huge perk for us. Within walking distance to grocery stores and great food. Will absolutely come back. Hate to leave.

    No room service, no elevators!
Continental breakfast very lacking, no coffee! (Fortunately McDonald's and Starbucks a block away. Old fashioned, wonderful setting.

Pros: Great location, really good yoga instructors. Pool area is always clean and comfortable. One of the few "affordable" hotels in the area and close to the surrounding restaurants.

Cons: Extremely overpriced for the stay with so many extra taxes and amenity fees added on after arrival! In total we paid $658 for two nights! We booked a room on their website and paid $269 a night for two nights (it's Hawaii so everything costs more right?) Fortunately, we recieved a king bed and our room was right on the ocean. It was so loud we needed ear plugs to sleep and couldn't close the door because it would be incredibly hot if we did. *There is always a strong breeze and the room really captures it.

I was frustrated by meager breakfast offerings and lack of any room service during our stay "due to covid". For the price we paid I expected better. Don't book a room here for anything more than $151 (offered on third party websites that the iso wasn't willing to match because I had already paid ahead) and remember the additional amenity fees on top of that!

I stayed here in June 2018 and it was wonderful. The staff is nice and my room was modern and stylish and clean with an ocean view. I loved waking up to the sound of the ocean each morning. The hotel offers 6:30AM yoga and bicycles free of charge. Excellent value in this area especially.
