Thai Spice (formerly Thai Smile)

Great food and atmosphere. Sat in a window booth and it was so comfy. Kind of slow service but likely due to the way they have all servers helping on all tables. My suggestion is to give your servers a section.

I have traveled to almost half of the world and the food here is some of the best I have ever eaten.

My family and I used to love this place and always recommend going here until yesterday. We received the worst service that I've ever had. It was my husband, my 2 year old, and myself. We sat a table and were asked what we wanted to drink. My husband ordered his, then I ordered mine, and as soon as I was about to tell her what my child wanted to drink she started to walk away, so I told her wait there's one more. Well she came back with only mine and my husband's drink and not my child's. so I reminded her once again about my child's drink. she brings back a styrofoam cup without a lid. Mind you, he's 2. So I asked for a lid. She came back and said they didn't have lids or any children cups. So we managed, I just had to hold his cup for him everytime he wanted a sip so that he wouldn't spill it. Then I ordered an appetizer and she brought it out. I had to ask for plates and napkins. After she brought them,, she left to go on her lunch break.. which was fine.. Then we had a different waitress come take our order. My husband is a very bland eater so he ordered the hibachi steak with rice, no vegetables. When our order came, his plate was stacked with vegetables and shrimp. We immediately told her that he didn't order the surf and turf and didn't want vegetables. She took the plate back to be corrected. Meanwhile there's only 2 other tables being occupied and there was no music so it was super quiet. We over heard the waitress and the cook talking about us. The waitress said, I guess he's not a vegetarian and thats why he's so skinny and probably has bad health and won't live long. When I heard this very rude comment of hers, I made sure to tell her how rude it was to say what she had said. she started to stutter and act like she didn't say anything, but we heard everything she said. We were prepared to leave a very generous tip, but after the terrible experience we decided to not leave a tip. I almost didn't even want to pay at all. I could see it in my husband's face how hurt he was, because he does struggle with his weight and for someone to make a rude comment on it was devastating. We will not be back. We will gladly take our business around the corner to Fancy Q's.

I went with 3 other people, It was our first time going, and we loved it. We got to choose where we sat and the people there were very nice. The price for me personally is a little high BUT you definitely get your money's worth plus some in my opinion so it doesn't even bother me. It was all very delicious and since it was our first time they explained the menu and even gave us some suggestions, which I found very refreshing. They also didn't mind answering questions that we had. The smell of the place caught me off guard tho, but I'm going to assume it's some kind of insences because I did see an insence defuser. I will definitely be going back

I've only had takeout but I've had both pickup and delivery...it was very good. There was one time when the delivery was not very good but I think it must have just been a one - off. Ever since then , it's been piping hot upon opening and the portions make several meals for me. I've had Thai food in a lot of places and this is pretty good. I do wish that delivery would get updated. It looks like the actual Thai style noodles are on there for lunch but not dinner.

It was an absolute honor to have the privilege of eating this meal. The service was phenomenal...and the food...! My goodness this has to be hands down the best food not only in Waycross but in all the southeast of the US! My meal with mamas noodles with coconut soup had beautiful flavorful vegetables, scrumptious ramen and beef...and the coconut soup was spicy and made the whole dish spark beautifully. I will crave this meal until the next time I come get it (and oh will my family and I be back). The complimentary soup and wonton (?) were lovely. My kids never eat soup or trying new things and they loved that. Even the kids shrimp and fries were special and obviously made with extreme care and thought. My yum yum sushi rolls were unreal good and I can't wait to get my next sushi craving fulfilled at Thai Spices. My husband had the drunken noodles which were amazing as well. My son had wonderful philly rolls and his tuna sushi was fresh and perfect. This place is a diamond and I am so excited to return (I'm also annoyed I have never tried it before now...c'est la vie!)

Best Thai Food I have ever had!!

We love this place for their variety of Thai cuisine. Try the coconut soup! Also, the pho is flavored to perfection. The atmosphere is very family friendly with great staff.

Great Thai food, good service. They would have gotten 5 stars if my dish hadn't been overwhelmed with onions. My coworker loved his meal too.

On our way home from wild adventures, we decided to check out the local restaurants in Waycross. It is mother's day and my wife loves Thai food, so we stopped at Thai Spice. The staff is very friendly. I wish that I would have taken pictures of my food before I tasted it. The rock n roll sushi didn't stand a chance. Nor did the hibachi steak and shrimp. There were 5 people in my party, everyone else ordered off of the Thai section of the menu. We sampled each other's food and became jealous of what everyone else had ordered. We will eat here again on our way home from Wild Adventures.
