Went to Thai Spices today with my friends and got racially profiled, our server assumed we weren’t going to tip, called us rude and loud when we told her we weren’t going to tip because she told us she had permission to add a tip to our ticket- without us know, by the owner. She said every time we come in, we don’t tip which, she’s never been our server before, so how would she know?

If you are not a classy white American customer, the wait will treat you like a homeless
The food is terrible, the Tom Yum soup is like a bowl of salf ,nothing good, we had to ask them for re cook bc we cant eat.
the fried rice is pale and wet like porridge
Their sushi look beauty but not like they are
P/s :To the owner.
I have been to more than 20 Thai restaurants& your restaurant is the worst restaurant i have ever eaten. simple example like this:
1 .Thai tea, is a very popular drink in Thai restaurants, but your restaurant has prepared it more like milk than Thai tea
Fried rice, when you clean up your table
Did you saw that the rest of it was all shrimp, although it was a lot of shrimp, and it was big, but we ate exactly 2: -
The frist: because my son tried it, he said the smell of shrimp was not like he ate before,
The second : I tried , the shrimp was burned because it wasn't cold enough, and the fried shrimp wasn't cooked wel, still not ready for eat, so we left it.
*****For the tom yum soup, as you said everyone has a different taste, but when I used the word salt, like salt in your soup, you understand how salty it is, Tom Yum without of lemongrass, lemon leaves (its ok i can understand) but only the salty taste of salt water. That's why when I asked to exchange or re-cook the restaurant you offered us to buy something else
You can advoid everything i sảd. But i just want tell the true

My first time for thai food but my expectations were set high due to my youtube video selections. The food did not disappoint me. It was Friday night and I was fortunate to get a table for two. We ordered the thai sampler and 2 entrees. I had steak and shrimp pad thai and my husband had Hibachi steak. Both were really delicious and a whole lot of food. We had plenty for another meal or 2 on Saturday. I'm looking forward to returning. I have plans to go again soon. All this food and 2 drinks each ran us about 50.00. I hope you go and enjoy.

Service was great even for a newbie. The place needs to be cleaner, but my food was delicious. I enjoyed the leftovers last night.

Excellent food and service. I highly recommend the thai dumplings, pad Thai bento box, fried cheesecake and the mango sticky rice! I just returned from 11 days in Chang Mai and the food I had at Thai Smile took me right back there.

[Written by my husband] We had lunch here with friends. The restaurant is located in the old section of Waycross across from The Ritz Theater. There is an air of old style charm as you walk in and we were greeted with a smile and shown a table. Service was fast and courteous, we soon had our drinks and our orders taken. I had green tea and it was well brewed and good. I ordered the Basil Fried Rice with Chicken. My wife ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken with oriental vegetables. We ordered an appetizer, Crab Rangoon which was heavenly good. My Basil Fried Rice was excellent, with the minty taste of fresh basil contrasting with the tender pieces of chicken and fresh veggies. All in our party were in agreement on the quality of our meals, and come hungry as the servings are large.
