One List to do.. If I can give 10 star I would, usually I don't like to eat grits but this one is yummy yummy, must try! Delicious food and excellent customer service..

This is our favorite breakfast place, hands down. Lunch is good too, but I usually can't resist the breakfast menu. Great biscuits, grits, hash browns, perfect eggs to order. Old fashioned diner atmosphere.

Coffee Cup is the diner that places like Waffle House strive to be like! This unique little diner has all the smells and sounds you look for in a diner, not to mention the food! There are tables, booths and a bar that you can watch as your food is made to order. They are open only a few hours a day, but those few hours they stay packed, and after you try it you will understand why! They offer a variety of breakfast and lunch items. Among other things, their unique French toast is deep fried goodness! Try it! It is no wonder they have been serving it up since the 1940’s!

There is a difference between vintage or nostalgic and just run down, cramped and not maintained... everything looks original alright from 1945. The vinyl chairs and booth benches are cracked and torn. The laminate Formica type table tops are worn down to where the color is mostly gone. The silverware is small, light weight and so cheap it detracts from enjoying the food. The flooring is disgusting old sheet vinyl with holes in it. Don't even try to go to the tiny awful bathroom. As for the food, the coffee cup is so small the waitress has to come back several times just to get through a breakfast meal. I ordered a build your own omelet which says $5.95 for "Plain" and costs $.95 to $1.95 for any item including cheese or onions... I asked what was in the "Plain Omelet" for $5.95. She said, "just egg folded over." I added ham, mushrooms and cheese. The cheese tasted and looked like a slice of Velveeta. The grits came in one of those tiny bowls salsa is served in but they were tasty. This will be my husband an my last trip down memory lane at The Coffee Cup.

I have been here two times since 2019. The cooking was much better back then. I believe with the new management shift things have slacked off. Eggs not cooked, bacon not cooked the only thing right was the toast and hash brown. Hope it gets back to what it once was. Side note. I spent $18 on two egg breakfast with coffee.

Really awesome place. Been there for over 75 years and never once closed down! Not even for repairs. Now that right there is saying something! Good food. Great owner and staff. And cool original atmosphere. And even though its old, its still nice and clean and well kept. I definitely recommend going here if your ever in the area! Very good coffee too! Even my dogs licking his lips just from the delicious smells outside!! Lol
