I can get fried mullet for breakfast, as well as nassau grits. Nassau grits is a Pensacola specialty. One bite and you are hooked.

Got to be Worst coffee I've ever tried to drink. Waitress served water by touching rim of glass were you put your lips. Waitress needs to attend Santi Serve classes. Unsanitary practices.

Old time, sit where you want, classic diner fare. I had a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich with a side of the house specialty grits. The sandwich was delivered with crunchy toast on the top and bottom (in other instances the bottom of the sandwich gets soft from waiting on the counter to be delivered, not here). My sister had an omelet that was light, fluffy, not overcooked or rubbery and the hashbrowns were crisp on the outside but tender on the inside. All the food was delicious.

Expect a wait but that's normal and worth it. Just your ole run of the mill good southern bite. It's nothing fancy and everything you want in comfort food. The tomato gravy is everything and a must try. Do yourself a favor and get the tomato gravy with a biscuit. Your life will never be the same. You're welcome.

This place is a Pensacola staple. It has seen so many changes around it, yet, it stays the same.
The server was friendly, and efficient. Everytime she noticed our drinks were getting low, she popped back over with fresh ones.

The shrimp platter was delicious. The shrimp was perfectly hot with a crispy coating, but juicy, and so fresh.
I'm very particular about cole slaw; this was very good. Just as I started to think "this is a little oniony", the sweetness started to come through, balancing it perfectly.

Simple and basic in all the best ways. Good food done right. If you're going on a weekend, get there early, it fills up quickly. A long time Pensacola staple, you eat one meal there and see why it's such a local favorite. Open for breakfast and lunch only. The staff treats you like family. Service and quick and friendly.

I had a build your own omelette with hash browns and a biscuit. My husband has the patty melt and my son had a cheeseburger and fries. We all cleaned our plates. That biscuit though...reminded me of home!
Service was on point and friendly.

Best hidden gem in town! I cannot believe I just discovered this place! Great atmosphere and food. Can't wait to go back. The grits were to write home about...
