One of the best places for a great breakfast or brunch in Pensacola. Coffee Cup has been here since 1945 and if you try it you'll know why it's still around! My parents were visiting from out of town and wanted to have breakfast so I decided on Coffee Cup. As usual it was very busy upon arrival. After checking in with the host we noticed an outside table that was vacant and we opted for that as opposed to waiting to dine inside. The outside seating was perfect for the 3 of us. We each chose different things for breakfast and everything was perfect- the creamy grits, the fluffy biscuits, the crispy bacon, the fluffy (huge!) build your own omelet, and the very attentive service. The owner was super friendly as well! It made the perfect start to a great day. I highly recommend going even if there's a wait- it's a quick turnaround and very well worth it.

Just WOW. I expected alot and it exceeded that. Grits are off the charts incredible. I'm proud of our NC grits but had to lay my golden fiddle at their feet. All other food was far above average. Line was long like it was going to be an hour. The host had us seated in maybe 10 min MAX. Customer service and relations is AWESOME. They're all over that Southern Charm but not smothering. Moved up to first place best dining experience in many years.

Loved the food; was definitely worth the wait. Which though it was busy, the wait was not too bad. The service is just great; the history of this building is amazing. Everywhere you see there is something interesting to look at. Will be back when in in town.

I wish I could have rated them higher. Some of the nicest staff, everyone was so nice and cheery. The food is great. My wife mentioned it was the most flavorful pancake she's had in years. A simple pancake done right. I had the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit and what a great buttery biscuit. I'll definitely be back. Oh and thanks for the soup sample, we loved how light it was for a bean based soup.

This restaurant has been around for decades and why I haven't been before now I will never know.
Older place, loads of character. Even though it was busy, if you are polite and patient.. You will be seated and fed as fast as possible. (Lines of folks in and checking out).
Fresh eats. Lots of options. Specials on lunches that I cannot wait to try. Witty, honest and very pleasant staff made our experience wonderful for a first trip.

We went to this place for breakfast on a Monday morning. Not sure what happened but we waited for our food for about an hour. There were people getting their food before us when they had arrived after we did. I felt bad for the waitress. She was trying to do all that she could to help us and kept apologizing for the wait which was not her fault at all. This place needs better management so that the customers leave satisfied. The food overall was good.

I was stationed in Pensacola in 1985-6 and my Realtor, Wood Waits introduced me to you and the Nassau Grits! I ate there nearly every Saturday. I retired from the Navy long ago and had heard that the restaurant had closed but I just got a pleasant surprise here on Google Maps. I'm going to make a trip up from Orlando just to re-live old memories. Those were great years...

Not very busy when we arrived at 10:50. Our server was nice but not very attentive..brought out water with barely any ice..asked for more...had to ask again..brought out my burger without fries..she said be right out and had to ask for them about 10 or more minutes later. They arrived barely warm. Just ate them like that. My sister's egg Benedict was perfect. We did not complain to Nancy. Just a heads up. She was young. And maybe new so my sis and I both know...we are retired servers.

Stopped in for a business breakfast. Was very good. We actually got called away right after we ordered. Left for 45 minutes to an hour. We all had wanted to try it so went right back and the very nice waitress still had our ticket from earlier. She was great, very nice lady and we left her a big tip.

OK little spot in old Pensacola. It's busy on the weekends and parking was sketch. Staff was nice, but our table sucked right by door, so surrounded by customers lining to pay (that process takes too long)
Food was just OK. I had a scrambler bowl wife had 2 eggs breakfast. Again pretty boring and not very warm, I could easily make better.
I saw the famous 1940s nickel stools and chimney bathroom... saw them, no need to return.
