When you walk in to a new place looking a little lost and Ms Nancy the hostess says “make yourself at home,” you know you’ve found the right spot for brunch.

Friendly helpful service, good prices, and delicious food. The nassau grits are outstanding - they have a little bite. You bet we took a picture of the recipe our waitress pointed out on the wall, and we’ll be back next time we roll through town.

Local diner, popular, no frills, good food, a nice hang for breakfast or lunch, with only one exception should it happen to you ...
Once in a while The Coffee Cup manager allows a homeless person to sit at the snack bar for a cup of coffee; a friendly gesture of kindness, most would think a fair thing to do, but unfortunately other guests have to tolerate that person's attempt to join in conversation with you ... it happened to me, and it was quite awkward, to say the least. Personally, I can't say this occurs often. I dealt with it only one time.
In my humble opinion, restaurants should be more concerned about the welfare of their guests and not the feelings and actions of their own employees. As a manager or worker sometimes you have to make hard decisions for the sake of hospitality.

Happened upon this little place while in Pensacola picking up my daughter from PCC.
This place is a old school/vintage feel Cafe that is the bomb. Our waitress, DJ was awesome and her recommendations were spot on!!
Biscuits and hashbrowns with tomato gravy.... holy yum!!! Oh and don't forget the fried cinnamon roll... it's a must!!
Will most definitely be back!!

I love the grits here and must get a t-shirt! Great local place for coffee and breakfast. Does get busy, so make sure to be ready for that. Try it for yourself

I don’t care what the other reviews say don’t get the deep fried french toast. Also, getting anything else with the french toast is an additional charge, so for $6.99, they give you two extremely greasy pieces of bread. Fell apart while cutting it, and so much grease came out it covered the plate. Took one bite and told my companion it was a heart attack waiting to happen. So bad. I left hungry. Very overall unclean atmosphere.

This is a place you must visit for Breakfast! If it’s busy, hang in there. The place was packed when I walked in but they had one spot at the bar. I got in and out quick. The food was great and the staff was very nice! I will be back with my family!

A Pensacola classic, get breakfast or lunch. But the menu is confusing. I ordered the French toast, on the menu is listed under a heading that indicates it comes with sides, but no sides. Also the toast seems deep fat fried. It was ok, but two deep fried pieces of bread for $6 just feels wrong. Family was with me - everyone seemed happy with their respective orders. They put together a couple of tables for us. I just wish they would update their menus so nobody feels bait-and-switched.

A little full of themselves but they work real hard to earn it. And, I think, they deserve to swagger, a little.

Packed out for breakfast and folks didn’t mind waiting in a biting cold wind. Our wait staff was awesome and witty. She more than earned her 25%.
The food was good and got to us quickly.

I will look for more places like this just so I can compare.

I was looking for a diner that reminded me of the one I have back home, and this fit the bill perfectly. The food and service were excellent, and I'll definitely be coming back when I'm in Pensacola again
