This place was so accommodating, had delicious food, great waitresses/waiters, and awesome coffee! There is some history here too which is super cool and fun. They took a little long to get us in, but we also had a seven person party, so overall I would say it was in a timely manner (about 20 minutes). They had classic breakfast options and everything I ate was so delicious. Nothing tasted fake or overdone. Great and nice staff!! (I added hot sauce before I took this pic)

Food was decent, kinda what I expected. I had a cheeseburger, my wife had a BLT. She loved the BLT.

I give a 3 star based upon service and cleanliness. My waitress literally left my drink empty for 10 minutes despite telling me 2x I was getting a refill. My check for the meal was calculated wrong. I was undercharged... so check your bill when you get it.

The restaurant needs a deep cleaning and some remodeling, like ceiling tile replacement. The place just looks worn down.

Coffee was good. Food was diner quality. Service less than great.

Wanted to try this place, and definitely wasn't disappointed. Feel like everybody made it a point to be sure any needs we had were taken care of. Awesome place! We'll come back!

This is a Penaacola staple that has been here for many years for a good reason. The food is excellent, home style, and southern. Whether irs breakfast food or their lunch meals. Go early! They close at 2 sometimes. Their fried chicken is one of my favorite meals!

There's a reason this place has been in business so long. Friendly faces on the staff, and the food is freshly prepared and actually hot when it gets to your table, not sitting under a heat lamp til your waitress remembers to bring it to you, like Dennys. 😀

I have to say of all the historic diners I have went to I actually enjoyed hearing the history of the Coffee Cup Restaurant from a customer a Mr. RICK GILL, who has been eating at this dinner since as he said "since I was a young boy" He told me many stories about the small dinner and how the dinner had been there for over 70 years. The place was packed with families eating. No doubt many had been eating there for years and now they are bringing their children and grandchildren. The prices were low but the quality of the food did not reflect the prices. The portions were large and the service was spot on. I never had to ask for a refill. I was told by Mr.Gill that a lady comes in at 4 am every morning to make homemade sausage gravy and also tomato gravy, something I haven't tried it but its very popular. This dinner was just purchased by a local business owner John Coffee who owns other Restaurant and while we were eating he came in and stopped by to say hello and introduce himself. I learned that he does this often and he assured us that he wants to preserve the history of this restaurant. It shows with the the 1929 Coffee Earns and the made from scratch chocolate cake. This is a must place to visit in the Pensacola, FL Area!

I have been coming here for decades however in the past couple of years it has gone downhill. The cook is very heavy handed on the grease. Much more than necessary. I was there last weekend and walked out after several issues.
-Very greasy food
-Omlet was way to large which made in impossible to fold/flip resulting in a large pile after sticking to the pan which was admitted to by the waitress.
-Toast was burnt which was also admitted to by the waitress.
-And the Grand Finale! After drinking a cup of coffee, I happened to turn the mug around and found a large blob of lipstick on the other side of the rim! I was DONE! (which the waitress also admitted to).
It's sad that this Pensacola institution is just another craphole and you can tell that despite the nice attitudes of the employees that I encountered, it's quite clear that no one cares about the product.
