Lot 38 espresso bar

Lot 38 makes the best caramel macchiato in the area. They also serve Illy coffee, for Italian coffee lovers. I can say that I do enjoy their chicken banh mis and chicken pesto paninis, always consistent. The staff is nice and remember faces, so you will always feel welcomed every time you walk in.

Tucked away a little off M street Lot 38 has great coffee, bagels, and sandwiches. It's a great place to stop for breakfast and grab a quick bagel with egg and cheese. The lunch sandwiches are also good and come at a reasonable price.

Nice neighborhood coffee spot. Particularly like their mocha, which is rich and delicious. Haven't had many of their pastries, but I love that this place is close, good, and generally fairly quiet.

Very cute corner coffee shop with a great selection and very friendly staff. Recommend to anyone passing by.

Best place around Navy Yard for coffee and tea. Staff are friendly, product is delicious and cost is lower than chain cafes littering the area. This is definitley a local business worth supporting.

When it comes to cafes I'm usually looking for quiet places to work with good coffee (my definition of good coffee is one that's not leaving a bitter after-taste; not too strong). This cafe fit the bill. Its tucked away on a street corner so you might miss it. I loved it for 3 reasons : their coffee (They serve Illy's coffee), the ambience (light music and seating was upstairs; you buy the coffee downstairs; plenty of outlets; wi-fi accessibility) and location (it was on the corner of a quiet neighborhood and the seating area overlooks a park)

It's a bit chilly in here! And not enough wall outlets along the wall with the sofas. The chicken bahn mi could use a better type of bread; it wasn't chewy enough for my liking. Otherwise, nice quiet place to bring a laptop to and work!

I love taking my laptop and doing work while sipping coffee and eating a bagel and lox. The employees are very pleasant and it’s always quiet and peaceful. I took off a star because it closes SO EARLY.

Great establishment. Consistent coffee and service. Very organized and clean. I'm not crazy about their sandwiches or pastries, but I am addicted to their coffee! I wasn't familiar with the illy brand, but it's so delicious I bought grounds for home!
