Lovely place. You can stay for hours. You can ask American University students! But that adds to the variety of ages and nationalities. It can be fun. Ah! Of course, and there is no better coffee around.
It always reminds me of Cheers. "A place where everybody knows your name"

I like the atmosphere and cozy place + cappuccino.
The service needs some work .
They are like robots making drinks for customers , no personal friendly attitude.

We can make coffee at home ourselves and we don’t need this attitudes .

Their drinks are pricey!

Lovely place! great staff, beautiful bright decor.
My favorite coffee! Flavorful, rich, smooth. I’ve become addicted to iced Vienna.

I’m a regular. The quality of coffee and service is exceptional. Breakfast sammies are better than SBux. A very popular study spot in our neighborhood with consistently functional Wi-Fi, good music playing, and ample seating. I like supporting this relatively small/local, veteran-owned chain and they are always welcoming to me and remember my name and order. :-)

Compass coffee is a local favorite! I love treating myself to the almond butter latte or the turmeric honey latte. I buy their beans and espresso pods for at home brew too!

Good space here and typically friendly employees. Only problem I have is that they have the music so loud sometimes that it's distracting, and difficult to getting anything done if you're studying or researching. Remember, it's not a club, it's a coffee shop.

Place for coffee connoisseurs. They are purist when it comes to coffee. My single origin Papa New Guinea coffee was poured over to perfection. A lovely space with leather couches to sink into and work or meet for a chat. The fish tank with fire in the middle is especially a nice touch.

maybe just caught him on a bad day but staff was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable so I left. I wanted to try the coffee here at some point but not anymore.

A must if in NW for coffee. My fave location for compass coffee. High quality, dc-roasted coffee beans. Also love their tea lattes. Try the London fog tea latte.

Family friendly! - kids area with seating, books, toys.

Multiple types of seating - conducive for studying, meetings, catching up with friends

Great space! Light filled! Large.

Parking - validated (2 hr) parking lot directly behind.

Supports using reusable cups.
