Went in there today for the first time, here is what they are doing absolutely right: 1) layout, design and work/kid/social space, 2) coffee and hot drinks, and 3) customer service. Here is what they need to do ASAP to survive next to Starbucks: 1) add many more food options, including hot food (didn’t have the capacity to heat up the breakfast sandwiches they sold) and lunch basics, 2) add more options for cold drinks, blended lattes, smothies, iced teas, etc., 3) be as environmentally conscious as possible, and 4) get a beer and wine license immediately, way too nice of a space not to serve beer and wine in the afternoons, and if you want to compete with the Starbucks in DC, this is a must.

VERY welcome addition to the neighborhood. Delicious coffee and great hang out space. And hey, to the reviewer named V.K., did it occur to you that the "CAP" written on your cup was NOT a description of you, but rather a description of your order - a cappuccino? Think back. Then return to the cafe without a hat on and order another cappuccino and see what happens.

A relaxed environment with good coffee. There is a limited selection of food, which includes pastries and granola/yogurt. Prices are the usual DC coffee shop level of high. They also sell cans of their locally roasted coffee beans.

This was My fav coffee shop in DC , service is not as friendly as before , I like the atmosphere, but the coffee quality is poor , they keep shifting , I pay $6 for a cappuccino but I make much better one at home , it is not worth driving there …,

I have been there twice now. The coffee is good, it is not the same as you will get in Italy. It is a comfortable place with good coffee, worth the visit.

The space and staff are charming and nice, but my nitro cold brew was way too watered down and just tasted like water. Was hoping for something stronger.
