i basically live at this coffee shop! the coffee, esp the fun, seasonal drinks, are amazing and my favorite so far in DC. the staff is so friendly. i dont feel like they’re just memorizing names but really getting to know people. whether it’s to study, grab a quick coffee or hangout with friends, this location is so warm and inviting. i could and do stay there for hours.

This is an awesome location of Compass Coffee and very convenient to get to. Parking is a pain in front of the store but the coffee experience is worth the pain!
I like the quality of beans sold at Compass Coffee and we do stop by for a drink every time I am here to pickup beans. My go to drink is the nitro cold brew and my wife gets the cappuccino. Both drinks are generally made perfectly and worth the trip!
They have done a good job managing traffic with social distancing enforcements.
Staff is friendly and always willing to help!

Compass Coffee - locally roasted in DC.. we LOVE their coffees and teas. The service is always 100% on point - friendly, efficient.. and this new location has an amazing space! Light filled, with lots of seating — communal tables or studying/working, cozy seating for just hanging out.. a kids toys/game section.. we love it! Definitely will be a great local space to connect with community. Highly recommend!

LOVE me some Compass Coffee! They have the best customer service - always ask for the correct spelling of your name and are very friendly. I like the ambiance at the coffee shop. You can't go wrong with their chocolate or almond croissants! Their specialty seasonal drinks are the best in town! Plus, you're supporting a local business. I hope they open a new location in Cathedral Commons!

I love this new location! Great atmosphere and the simple menu choices are what will keep me coming back to this location. I enjoy the fact that they do not heat up the food, because as one barista explained to me at another location, it affects the coffee (and it really does!), and from a personal observation it's enjoyable not having to smell different foods being cooked, making the place smell like a restaurant, rather than a coffee cafe. Even though some customers want beer and wine to be served where space isn't used, everyone needs to understand that Compass Coffee is about REAL GOOD COFFEE. Simplicity, friendliness, real good coffee, selling sandwiches, salads, and pastry foods from local DC vendors, is what made me fall in love with Compass Coffee. Keep up the great work!
