I ordered delivery from here yesterday. I really just wanted the lemon bar (it was really good the last time I had it) i decided to get the breakfast taco too. My ordered came: no taco , no lemon bar....got some other sandwich. I contacted doordash...they reordered for me...I still really wanted that lemon bar. My food was delivered again....but still NO LEMON BAR. I gave up. And breakfast taco really wasn't good...the filling was mushy. Very disappointed.

Ordered delivery and today was the last straw- got a hot chai latte when I ordered an iced one and got a plain croissant for $5 when I ordered an almond croissant. Not the first time they got my order wrong. Once entirely forgot to give the bread that came with their shakshuka type dish. There are better cafes to support in the area.

I love this place. I’ve been in before to have their fried chicken sandwich (stellar) with polenta and brussels (also both stellar). Today I was theta for breakfast and got the English muffin egg sandwich with arugula and sun-dried tomato aioli and I have to say it was remarkable. Definitely will be coming back to get that with their delicious dirty chai latte.

Solidly bad. Egregiously overpriced-$75 for 1 breakfast item each for four people (& seltzer), employees couldn’t care less, which...neither could I, so can’t blame em. There appears to be a kitchen, but nothing we ordered came from it. Packaged food was definitely prepped last week, and was likely mediocre then, too. Best part was the excitement of not knowing whether our car would still have wheels when we returned.

Perfect Lemon Bar; super tart, delicious texture and a flavorful cookie crust to balance it out. I’m a fan.

Charming and delicious! Coffee is a bit pricey, but good quality. Pastries are delicious and the breakfast sandwiches are huge! A beautiful indoor space. I love supporting local businesses when I can, and this one has excellent customer service. Great prepared food, pastry, and grocery section, too.

Best grilled cheese sandwich I’ve had in years! The chickpea salad was a nice side. You must give this tiny place a try!!

My name is Meredith and I visited Baker's Daughter to purchase some breakfast burritos. Da' Viesha greeted me with a friendly smile, professionalism and extremely prompt amazing service! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh! Her dedication to excellent customer service is second to none. My overall rating undoubtedly is 5 stars for without hesitating. Da' Viesha deserves a big raise and the biggest recognition for her amazing friendly service and professionalism. Thanks Baker's Daughter for hiring this jewel of an employee to represent your magnificent restaurant business!! :o)

First time there. Drove from Germantown because I receive emails form their restaurant and Bakers Daughter.
Andrea who was at the register and I believe is the manager too. Very kind, professional, and accommodating.
I figured because I drove from Germantown for coffee Breakfast, I’d make it a lunch visit as well.
Had coffee was Luke warm brought to her attention brewed new batch. Ordered the breakfast bowl with granola, fresh fruit and breakfast pudding, shaved coconut. Fruit plump plenty however the granola was skimpy. I had to dig to get to complement the pudding.
Could not resist the beautiful chocolate croissant warmed up for service delicious. Not to be to but the chocolate was sparse but not a deal breaker.
Then kicked back then had the matzo ball soup. Really big portion 4 balls, plenty of chicken, and vegetables chicken stock clear, clean, but it needs bit of salt but I didn’t ask for my bad. Dill was hardly present in flavor. Matzo Balls were good but all considered it was a good bowl of soup fro the value. I had the garbanzo bean salad like the vinaigrette. I would have added a little bit of Flavor to the beans like toasted them or marinated them as they just seem to have been just soaked overnight but no flavor just a bean.Overall I ate to much but the value and quality is very good. Nice selection of grab and go, Cheese, house made truffle mousse, dressing etc. After 3 hours I left and exited to return again.
Chef was there working on Thanksgiving and out door seating for winter right behind me. Chefs life never resting driven people. I pick up on about everything around me in dining or eating out, and even going for coffee. 46 years in the restaurant business you get hospitality ears and eyes. He thanked one regular for stopping by.
who was there for maybe 30 minutes. But did not even thank me or extend the same to me. It’s just what I picked up. Guess I was not that important. I just thought hum I have been in front of the chef/ owner for almost 3 hours spending money not just having coffee and I was the only one sitting down there other than the other guy. Just a feeling I get as a patron that another is thanked. When 2 people were In there. No bad feelings just resonates on the hospitality business the good and not so good. I don’t expect everyone to drop everything but 2 people 1 recognize one not. Hey people have their mind filled with survival so I shrug it off but wanted to bring it it. Nothing personal.

Delicious food. Grilled chicken breast sandwich was a treat after the gym. Bread is great. Easy parking and pick up in Ivy city on the ride home. Love it!
