Very overpriced. Food kinda bland and lacks flavor. Focus less on aesthetics and make better tasting food.

Very cute and neat place. They have everything you need for a quick snack or a quick bite to eat. Definitely try the matchalada. A little bit of sugar, spice, and everything nice.

New favorite breakfast 🥪 sandwich in DC! Their bacon/egg/cheese sandwich on toasted sourdough is amazing! No pics to post because I'm too excited to eat it everytime, that I forget to take photos first (also, how photogenic is a sandwich, I mean, really?). I recently tried adding tomatoes which really elevated it even more!

I really want to like this place. It's concept is good, but I think there is a lot to be desired in the execution. I've been disappointed more times than not, and don't get me started on the prices. For what they charge, I would expect a consistently good meal. I've tried the lasagna, which was cold in the middle and cheese not fully melted, I've tried breakfast quiche, which was also cold and not full cooked through.
I've also had decent (good, but still not worth the high price) experiences. If this review was written solely on the raspberry bars, 5+ stars! They are delicious. I'd also recommend the brussels sprout, one of the only items on the menu that I think are legitimately worth the price they've set. I've had positive experiences with some of their take-away prepared items as well, like the enchiladas, which are supposed to be cold until you reheat them

We enjoyed wonderful sandwiches: Cubano, pimento fried chicken, and Truffle grilled cheese. Hard to select the favorite! The kale pasta salad was good enough to make a meal by itself! FInished off with soft and fresh chocolate chip cookies along with a buttery raspberry crumb bar, Brenda was very helpful and cheerful. Highly recommend for a tasty and healthy lunch.

Friendly, attentive staff really sold this place. I wasn't blown away by the chai latte but the grilled chicken sandwich really hit the spot. S.O. got a short rib grilled cheese and raved! There's a cooler section with a great spread of food plus dry goods available. The baked goods looked amazing!

Very disappointing food . we ordered the short rib sandwich which was meant to come with red onion marmalade . when the sandwich arrived, there was no red onion marmalade . we then told the staff who then attempted to rectify the error . we ended up with bits of semi cooked red onion which was nothing like red onion marmalade . overall the quality of the sandwich was below par . the fried chicken sandwich was also poorly executed . the accompanying salads were unseasoned . the amount of plastic used to serve these dishes was also disappointing especially at the time when climate change is a big topic . given the surroundings plus the fact that we paid 14 dollars per sandwich i expected better .

I decided to give this place a try( it got great Google reviews). In any case I came in only to be ignored by the check out girl for 5 minutes. Then I was told they were out of more than half of the breakfast items, and the other items were pre-made and could not be altered. I left spending close to 10 dollars on a cold almond croissant and mediocre iced coffee. There are plenty of places in DC worth spending your hard earned money. This is not one of them. ( Still looking for a killer breakfast sandwich).

I wanted to give a S/O to "DJ the delivery driver". His customer service was impeccable. He also took time to give me the history of the Restaurant while sharing the great choices of fresh juices the store provides. I have visited this store on several occasion and everyone has great customer service.

I had a Jambon Buerre sandwich: “One of Chef Matt Baker's Favorites* Classic French Ham & Cheese on Baguette with Butter and Cornichons.”
Ham and swiss served ice cold with clumped butter on stale bread. The pickles were a nice touch. I eat just about anything and I am not one to waste food, and even I had to throw this disaster away.
