Such high expectations from glowing reviews and gorgeous photos. I wanted to love it. Really. My sister from out-of-town booked by phone last night for 4 @7pm for this/Sunday evening. We arrived at 7 and were told there was no reservation for us. However, they were able to seat us. We ordered the salmon nachos appetizer. Shortly thereafter we were informed they were out of it. Ok, so we ordered oysters. Nope, out of those, too. We ordered garlic ghee fries- not bad, but not great and no garlic detectable, crispy but very greasy almost like they were recooked after having been originally cooked earlier. The shishitos were beautifully green, but bland and vegetably/underdone.
Main dishes? I ordered the frog leg gumbo. Nope, out of that, too. The menu has maybe 20 food items on it total, and they are out of 3 of the most interesting ones? Really annoying. Our sweet server said that it often happens on Sundays. My daughter ordered the ratatouille- it was a tiny portion and half rice. My sister’s curried vegetable soup was very good, as were my partner’s burger, my pork chops, the blackberry lemon tart, and the grits we received.
Honestly, I love to cook, and eat out mostly to experience unusual and well-prepared items that I don’t cook at home, and would normally never order a $38 pork chop (although it was very tasty). I will most likely give The Regional another chance, but you can bet that it won’t be on a Sunday unless they commit having a sufficient stock of what must be their most popular menu items.

Yowza! This new restaurant was fabulous! Very casual atmosphere but great and unique food! Can’t get better than a rose’ and dozen happy hour oysters. Try this one!

waited 45 minutes for Raw Oysters they were warm I felt so sick an hour and a half later
also ordered a not so chowder, chowder the hour and a half that past to receive this was ridiculous. it was just a bowl of the smallest mussels i’ve ever seen and less then a tenth of an inch of extremely salty fluid at the bottom. the $177.00 we spent left me hungry We definitely would have went out and got another full meal somewhere else except I spent the night🤮 the chef to call this chowder should be locked up in an asylum for the insane and i’m pretty sure the oysters were bad

We’ve been coming here since they opened! Love that they have oysters all the time. The wine list is great and their cocktails are delicious. Food is also on point!

Went her for dinner. The miso pumpkin soup and lamb meatballs were great but the ratatouille was bland, and my friend had the special (t-bone lamb) which was a very small serving size for the price. They also tacked on a 3% kitchen fee which is fine but I feel I’d be better to just update the prices on the menu to avoid the surprise. Overall I’d say it’s a fine place for appetizers and a drink, but not gonna go here again for more than that.

Love this place. The shisitos were delicious and the lamb meatballs were rich and satisfying. My husband said the pretzel with cheese sauce was the best he has ever had. Went here another time and had amazing shrimp and grits. Great ambiance with lots of plants and nice bar area. Server was great.

These people are the best. I can't speak highly of them enough. The food is always great aka awesome. The drinks are always delicious and the staff are great people. We had 2 of the drink specials as posted, but the NY strip and pork chop were amazing. Oysters are always fresh and are a fantastic way to start. This is my favorite place to go to in fort Collins. Cheers!

Always fantastic service and excellent food. We've seen a lot of restaurants come and go in this location, and I am glad to see one of our favorites stick around. Fun and inventive dishes as well as a great happy hour menu. The mignonette they serve with oysters is a stand out. I understand it's a weird thing to get excited about, but when they take care of the small details, you know everything else is going to be well executed.
Flavor profiles and compositions are always well thought out, and it's clear the chefs and servers enjoy what they are producing.

My daughter and stumbled upon this by accident—so glad we did!! Farm to table: Their pickles taste like my grandmother’s homemade canned pickles—never thought I’d taste them again. A true treat! Hands down the best burger in town. And don’t get me started on the mushroom truffle pretzel—incredible. If you want homey delights on steroids, this is the place. And Tuesday’s they have their happy hour—you will definitely leave happy!
