The atmosphere at The Regional is great and there are some things on the menu that are enjoyable, which is why I give it three stars. A few months ago I tried their fried chicken dinner. The meal was well prepared but extremely overpriced. Most recently, I had the ribeye. The steak cut was about three-eights of an inch thick, which was surprising and below expectations, especially for the price. I ordered it medium rare and it was served medium well, since it’s nearly impossible to cook a steak this thin properly, and why you don’t see them cut this way in any butcher case. Lastly, I ordered a glass of wine and received a three ounce pour at best. It’s clear that management is overly focused on cost, and it’s hurts the overall experience. I won’t be back.

Seems like a super awesome place with great happy hour deals! Saw in the rooster magazine the happy hour was until 8pm every night of the week m-f but went in about 6:10 on a Thursday and they said it just ended. Just wanted others to know the time isn’t correct in the magazine. 😊

All their food is locally sourced, and the staff is very knowledgeable. It seems like they go the extra mile for every little thing. They make their own pasta, and smoke their duck. These folks are serious about cuisine, and it shows. Our waiter said he works there because of the Regional’s culinary philosophy. It’s a very creative restaurant. The chefs obviously have a reverence for food and explore the potential range of each ingredient. They really seem to care about your experience. We drive down from Laramie just to eat here. Anymore, it is the only restaurant we go to in Ft Collins. Can’t wait to go back.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. The grit cakes and pork shoulder were an experience that I wont forget, and the oyster mushrooms were seasoned to perfection that complimented the dill sauce that they came with. From the inviting atmosphere to the friendliest staff, this is definately the location to enjoy a fantastic supper.

This place is really great. Our server was very attentive and informative about the food they offer. A lot of local food options and the food really seems to be fresh. We got lucky to get in on a Friday night without a wait as it seems to be a pretty popular place, and for good reason.

Food, atmosphere and service was great! Mussels (and the bread...oh the bread) were fantastic. However, I'm pretty sure the wine and beer pours are NOT standard sizes, which is diappointing. My $12 glass of wine was pretty skimpy. So I ordered a beer...the glass was definitely not a usual size pint glass. When I asked about it I got a brush off. Not sure I would go back if I was planning or odering a drink.

We had excellent service at The Regional and can truly appreciate the efforts and local drive behind this restaurant. Our drinks were delicious and the food was...alright. For the level of expense The Regional requests at $20-45 an entree we were expecting the food to be much more creative. In our opinion it was far too expensive for what we received as far as food I can recreate at home. We wouldn’t discourage individuals from going here in fact-I believe their lunch would be a great choice. But if you are looking to celebrate with an expensive special dinner meal I recommend looking around for other choices.

Really fantastic food and cocktails! Perfectly sized menu with options for all taste buds. Delicious mussels and the oysters were phenomenal! Desserts were heavy for a spring menu, but still tasty and satisfied a sweet craving. Maybe a panna cotta would be a nice addition? Second time at The Regional and will certainly return!

This is one of the best spots I have ever had. I had the blackberry piff and a fried mushroom sandwich.. my husband had the 2 scrambled eggs and with the sausage gravy. Ohh my word when I had a bite I was so mad that I did not do that.

Cool vibes in this place and a cozy / comfortable atmosphere for sure! Service was good, you could tell everyone was pretty slammed but doing their best and staying positive.. Also our food came out pretty quickly even considering how busy it was on a Friday night.

That being said, our dishes lacked flavor and personality. You could tell the ingredients are fresh and the food was well prepared, but there was not a lot of flavor. I had the burger, and the taste just fell flat — there was nothing wrong with it per se but I would order it again either… The ratatouille was also well made but lacking in flavor. I will say the Bibb salad was pretty solid, probably the highlight of the meal for me.

All in all, I really like a lot about this place and I would love to see the chef push the dishes further. So much of the food scene in FoCo is bland and boring, and I believe this place could deliver a more compelling offering than most…

With that said, maybe we will give it another shot at some point and see how they have evolved!
