We enjoy staying at the Broadmoor. Great place for business meetings or just rendezvous. Beautiful rooms inside and beautiful grounds outside. Decorated for Christmas is a great time. We are in the cottages which are not in the heart but more private off of the golf course.
I did the valet for my car, and the person who parked it was very nice. The guy who ran and got it was very fast and professional. I was greeted by every worker, and the views were beautiful.
We ate at the "La Taverne" and while we waited for our reservation time, we took a stroll around the beautiful lake. We did not stay here, however it is a beautiful area very spacious and quite peaceful.
You've heard of The Nightmare on Elm Street? Ours was The Nightmare on Lake Avenue. We stayed in one of the cottages, which are beautifully appointed rooms, except that when we arrived the temperature in our room was at least 80 degrees and the thermostat didn't seem to be working. To cut to the chase, we experienced three visits in three days with HVAC crawling into a hole in the ceiling of our closet. That said, mainentance men (and one woman!) were polite, professional, and apologetic. We can't understand how someone hadn't reported this issue before, but we did, and we hope the next occupants have a better experience. Other experiences at The Broadmoor were on point, especially an amazing meal at Ristorante del Lago, but the foundation of a good hotel is a quality in-room experience. Our stay was stressful and disappointing, memorable for all the wrong reasons. We haven't given up on the Broadmoor, and we'll be back again and again. It's our home away from home.
Had dinner at an event at the International Center. Service was 5 star+, as usual, food was prepared above and beyond. I have food allergies, and they more than accommodated. I've never had bad service or food at the Broadmoor.
Gross and Boujee… there are shops, but unless you’re looking do for a tennis bracelet they aren’t fun shops. Good little bakery inside though. The Mango gelato was delicious.
Great rooms. But forced, high services fees and "property improvement fees" on every bill are excessive, especially as they add to already high base prices. And some wait staff try to make you believe that none of that goes to them, so you should give full tips on top of the fees. That would turn a $100 bill for $75 worth of food (I'm being generous) into a $150+ payment. I'm sorry, but NO!
When you want something special top to bottom you go to the Broadmoor. We were taken care of very well at the Broadmoor by staff that were well trained, friendly, accommodating, and generally outstanding. The room, hotel, and grounds were perfectly maintained and polished. While out to eat, our clothing was put away and a treat left. The attention to detail was actually touching for us.
The staff knew it was my birthday and everyone gave me their best wishes very sincerely.
We enjoyed an excelent meal and service at La Travern. Again, the experience was excellent.
Our room was the height of luxury.
We greatly appreciated our special time at the Broadmoor. The Broadmoor is a Colorado icon of historic luxury and quality.
We really enjoyed the extensive collection of Master Western art in the lobby. Remington, Russell, and Bierstadt works among other Masters are unparalleled anywhere.

We went for the history and grandeur. Luch was sub par and the service slow and impersonal. The new addition blocks the view of Pikes Peak.
It had the history and was a terrific period piece, overall underwhelming

Always the best of everything!! Can't go every weekend but we go when we can. There's a lot of great things to see in Colorado Springs too .
