Amazing. The service is top-notch. I am constantly amazed by how responsive their staff is and genuinely pleasant.
If there is a complaint, it is crazy expensive. If you have meals on premises, be prepared for $40-50 per person w/o alcohol as a low end average estimate.
The hotel is beautiful and overall, my experience was very good. The coffee offered by the various cafes was fantastic, however, I found the food unremarkable. Food/beverage prices are really high (especially with the added gratuity) for how unimpressive food was.
The spa was calming and I loved my services and the added amenities like the oxygen room, steam room, etc.
I wish I had known that there was a shuttle that could take you around the property before I spent the first couple days running around. I found shopping more fun in Old Colorado City than I did on site. While the property is very upscale, the shops felt a bit stodgy.
The hotel staff overall were very pleasant and I had my favorites for sure but sometimes I felt unwelcomed by others, like my being there was an imposition and I'm very low maintenance.
The staff at the Broadmoor assisted my fiancé with executing the perfect proposal. The entire staff and friendly, courteous and incredibly accommodating. The spa is immaculate & Lonny gave me a perfect manicure and Mic took beautiful photographs to help us document this special day. We will be returning for years to come
Truly Amazing...Best Accomodations and Customer Service we've had in a long time. Staff was very welcoming and assisted us with any and all questions. The zoo was amazing and the landscape on property was breathtaking. A 5 star for us and we will definitely be back. Mercedes at the front desk was amazing and welcomed us when we arrived and checked us in early with an amazing room. Thank you ❤️
Wow the views are to die for. The service was 6 stars if you ask me and the rooms are great. They go above and beyond to accommodate the guests and really make you feel like a VIP. 100% would come back.
Eat and be merry! Great place to get bee stickers thrown on you! Great date night, but definitely save your pennies for this trip. Drinks are $15-$40 apiece, but the ambience makes it worth it.
This resort hotel is top notch. It's expensive, but the view and location is truly exemplary. I got a room facing the pond with the backdrop of mountains behind the opposing building. It was just amazing. The rooms are a bit dated but you get that older feel of what classic hotel resort rooms used to be. It's worth checking out. The crisp mountainous air, and all the places nearby to visit and see.
We stayed at the Broadmoor in January and I will start by saying the stay did not disappoint. The hotel has a ton of historic charm and yet is updated. The room was very spacious and the crown molding, chandelier, and color scheme gave it a very sophisticated feel. The bathroom was large, bright, and clean.
The service throughout the resort was top notch. I really appreciated the room service. In the evening they would turn down the bed and leave a chocolate and bottle of water on the bed-stand. They even gave us some bookmarks and luggage tags as well. These small gestures really brighten the stay in a post Covid era when most hotels have gotten rid of these small gestures and decided not to bring them back. When we would walk through the lobby there was staff to press the elevator button, open a door for you, and offer a warm greeting.
There are several restaurants on site to choose from; however, I would say this was my least favorite experience of the stay. You had to make reservations in advance to actually eat at any of them, otherwise the only place to eat was the bar areas, which are on a first come first serve basis. We tried to eat at La Taverne, but they turned us away and told us to go to Ristorante Del Lago across the pond. When we got there, they told us we could not sit in the dining room and had to sit in the bar area. It was rather early in the evening (maybe 5:00) and it was already packed. Luckily, one table got up right as we were looking around and I grabbed the table quickly. I will say once we sat down the food and service were amazing. My other compliant about the restaurants is that they are all very expensive. Given you don’t really want to leave the resort your main choice is to eat at one of the many restaurants. Even the lower end restaurants were still pricey.
A must do during your stay is to walk the grounds, enjoy the scenery, and spend time gazing at the artwork. The hotel features paintings of the American West and you can feel like you are walking through an art museum. They even have a section of photos of famous people that have stayed at the resort throughout the years, which is a fun way to spend a stroll after dinner. Overall, this resort is a gem and offers a rich history and splendid service.
Pros: Very cool place, very nostalgic, food was superb, plenty of choices of whiskey and bourbon. Everyone there was super friendly and very helpful. Cons: If you are planning on staying here I hope you have an extra organ you can sell.
My familiar had a wonderful time at the Broadmoor. We went during Christmas 2022 and the decorations were lovely.
The staff was extremely hospitable and friendly - they seemed to genuinely want to make sure guests had the best experience possible.
We had a 2 bedroom wing on the third floor of the main building. The rooms were very classy, spacious, and comfortable.
However, I wish there were more activities for the little kids (ages 2 & 3) - especially during Christmas time. I think kids over age 8 were properly entertained with the bowling alley bar/restaurant but it was tough finding things to do for the toddlers.
Overall we had a great time and will come back in the future.
