Philz Coffee

Truly the best coffee you can have. Miles ahead of starbucks and some say it's better than Peete's too, although I haven't tried Pete's. Take note sugar is not self-served, so ymmv when asking for sugar

Girl with the blue hair is very rude. The rest of the employees seemed fine, but I won't be returning. There are lots of good options for coffee in the area.

So I was in line at Starbuck's and decided to google "coffee" to see what else popped up, as to avoid drinking my go to coffee and try something new. This place was highly recommended (google reviews) and a short walk. I made my way in and decided to ask the girl behind me in line what she recommended, "The Mint Mojito Iced Coffee" is what she said without hesitation. I was already eye balling that one so it was an easy decision at that point. She was spot on. This is one of the best coffees I have ever had. They even ask you to try it before you buy it to ensure it is what you want. Love this place and now I want them to open one in Atlanta.

Philz has amazing coffee, knowledgeable staff and even sells some great local hot sauce. The coffee here is so tasty that you can drink it black and really enjoy the flavors.

Coffee was good, however, they gave me a cup that started dripping from the bottom 5 minutes after I left. Got on all my clothing.

The drinks are made well and the employees are helpful and friendly. The music can be a bit loud and at times too cold inside. However I love the use of the room as there are enough spots inside and out

A cozy place to hangout and/or work! It's also conveniently located right in the heart of downtown Redwood City. The coffee tasted a little over extracted and the Mint Mohito isn't as great as the ones I've had in the San Francisco and Palo Alto locations—but it wasn't bad. Just be sure to taste it beforehand and check with your barista for any desired adjustments.

The coffee is really good, however this is not the place to get a quick cup of coffee. Each cup is made individually pour over style and the line is always fairly long, so there is no popping in and out.
