Philz Coffee

My favorite coffee. Happy I can still order the beans online now that I've moved to the East. Please open one in JC or Manhattan. Don't want have to take the train to DC 😉

The decaf mocha was good. I was expecting espresso rather than drip, but it was still good, but a bit slow and a bit pricey... hence 4 stars and not 5

I'm so happy Philz opened a location in Redwood City! I know Philz is famous for their coffee, but I love their herbal mint tea. The cardamom they put in there is perfection!

Typical Philz atmosphere, but in a compact setting makes for a generally crowded venue. The coffee is excellent, the baristas are welcoming, and you might even have a conversation with a stranger.

Too many questions when I already gave him all the information. And after going through a 10-question are waiting. I then had terrible coffee. I usually don't give reviews often and often only the positive but this was a frustrating experience. I do not like the Philz Coffee experience

You can find fresh coffee always.

Better than Peet's when Peet's was still a great private coffee chain. Phil and his son Jacob are really nice people who know how to make great coffee

Usually busy since the coffee is good. If you're looking for a change of pace from other corporate coffee shops, Philz is a welcome change.

I don't always go to Redwood City but when I do, I often hit up Philz here. Located right in heart of downtown area next to theatre and dt square. This spot is very popular, and it serves Philz quickly. Has decent lightning, exposure to outside, great music, okay interior.

The coffee is amazing here! Yea there is somewhat of a wait usually because each cup is brewed individually but it's totally worth it!
