Cafe Venetia

I came for the first time tonight. The assistance I received from Mike was outstanding. Mike let me to sample their hot chocolate, and let me just say that it is WOW wonderful! This restaurant boasts an all-day Italian vibe, lovely design, indoor and outdoor seating, and a fantastic menu of drinks and snacks. Their tiramisu was delicious, fluffy, and real. Because hot chocolate is so heavy and rich, I chose the mocha chocolate as my beverage. The mocha makes it easier to consume the tasty beverage. While there is parking available in front, it can be difficult to find it in the center of a bustling downtown. The facility is highly clean and they adhere to COVID rules. Excellent initial impression all around.

Best place for both: espresso and sitting outside and enjoy life in Palo Alto. Espresso and food are always perfect.

The coffee in this place is so good, it’s very creamy, rich and has great taste. Also the mini tiramisu is so good it’s the perfect combination of sweet, creamy and coffee. I’ve tried a couple of deserts the creamy chocolate mouse cake and it’s good. What I’ve tried so far it’s been really good.

The food is almost entirely desserts. The chocolate is very good, the rest is pretty generic. Counter service is fine. Atmosphere is high-end techie. Lots of MacBooks, some geeky looking dates.

One of my favorite coffee/pastries places in Pali Alto. Open late, so if I want my espresso after 5 pm, I know where to go. Nice ambience, a lot of outdoor seating, and everything is very tasty. Do not skip panettone, you will fall in love with it forever! I also would recommend baguette sandwiches.

Hot choco mousse is perfection. Lovely staff, great ambiance, better than Burdicks because the Choco isn't overwhelming in flavor. Love the no computer area.

I have loved my times at Cafe Venetia, since 2017 and over the years. Today was very disappointing, Luke warm latte, at best. Requested double shot but wasn’t quite like previous coffees. Hoping this is just an anomaly, looking for a more positive experience.

For someone who grew up in Southern Europe, this place feels like being back home. Deserts taste even better than they look and coffee is flawless. Whenever I was there staff was friendly with amazing attention to detail.

If you are used to a proper espresso in Italy Cafe Venetia is for you! Really top notch with an Italian flair you won’t get on the Peninsula anywhere else. The owners have a high bar they expect from their Baristas you don’t see at many high end coffee shops in the bay.

Love their hot chocolate and Marocchino. Excellent cafe with great ambience!
