Excellent restaurant, it was amazing! Definitely recommend to try. Staff is quick and very professional, service is great.
I love Italian coffee and it's delicious here. Hot chocolate is of the right consistency and very rich in taste. You can also buy Italian desserts and pastries here. Croissants were very tasty, the vanilla cream was just right in terms of sweetness. The chocolate mousse was very delicate and tasty, I recommend trying it. Great place, I really liked everything.
Google reviews said the coffee was good. I found it average. The pastry š„ was also average. The chocolate tart was almost frozen that it took me a while to be able to eat it.
With a European ambiance, this espresso bar serves a series of different drinks. Although most of the time, it's crammed inside, the outside patio offers plenty of seating. They offer delicious pastries and dense hot chocolate for those who don't drink coffee. The coffee was spectacular.
Enjoyed a break this morning with marucchino (cap with choc powder and shavings). Fantastic! Had some of the pastries and they were all lovely. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good.
Love the vibe and coffee. Their chocolate moose is the best. They have outdoor and indoor seating with space to work. Will definitely visit when Iām in the area.
A unique and wonderful Italian coffee shop right on University in downtown Palo Alto. Always my go-to for coffee when Iām in the area. The vibe is very Italian and almost antique, and thereās plenty of seating outside and some inside to sit and get some work done. They are also open pretty late so you can sit here for a while. Overall, one of my absolute favorites with wonderful coffee and treats.
We went to this place with a friend. I tasted the hot chocolate. It was really nice and thick. My husband had two coffees. Would recommend it to any chocolate lover. The tiramisu and the bread looked great. My friends really enjoyed it
Checked out a old haunt after 10+ years. Not much had changed inside, which is good. Of course thereās more seating outside now. Again both the coffee and bakery items are popular and delicious.
Hands down the best European Cafe in the Peninsula. You must try any drink that involves the hot chocolate. I can't think of anywhere else you'd get such thick and rich cup of heaven (not even at Ghirardelli Square). The pastries are amazing. The atmosphere is classy and crisp. And unlike some of those "artisanal" cafes, the prices are normal.
Absolutely will return every time I'm in PA downtown.

Iāve only been here onceāI donāt live in Palo Altoābut, after a 5.5-hour flight, it was just the tonic. Iced teaābetween the mask & accent, I couldnāt make out what kind of tea it was, but it was deliciousāsunshine & a good bookā¦itās all *I* need to get by. Iām not even exaggerating, when I say all the patrons at this cafĆ© were speaking Italian, which gave the place a real European feel that I look forward to revising the next time Iām in town.
