Cafe Guarani

The food is reasonable, the service pretty bad. We were told that the order would take 10 mins, 25 minutes later we were still waiting. To crown it up, we paid for 15 empanadas and they only put 12 in the box... I would avoid this place until they understand something about service to customers.

We stopped as tourists from southern California and enjoyed the best latte and hot chocolate served to us in real mugs with hot pastries.

Specialty menu that includes plenty of vegan options! Yerba, matcha and espresso drinks offered. The soy empanada was sooo delicious! Staff was helpful and friendly.

Ordered 4 empanadas, 2 brisket/2 vegan. Vastly different. Yet what I received was neither. They all looked the same and completely unrecognizable as any known protein. First and last for me.

Today was our first time there. Loved it. Try it. Kept very clean. Very good pastries and coffee and also south american teas. Try their empanadas really good.

They had good service and amazing empanadas . Also there desserts were spectacular. Go there right now! Hope you like it!

I came for the Paraguayan fare and was not disappointed. The chipa was a sentimental journey and the sopa was perfection. If I didn't live 300 miles away I would be there every week.

Incredible food and traditional Yerba mate, plus the atmosphere in the secret garden is amazing. One of the coolest spots in Monterey!!

Lady with black hair behind the counter gave dirty looks, the coffee wasn't hot, the lids don't fit the cups and the mocha was extremely gritty with powder. Will not be going back
