Open mic night was tonight. It was great. The kids and I had a fun night. I was even able to be a judge. All the acts were great. I give this spot a 2 thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻. And I'm going to make it a planned activity for every Wednesday night.......

Must visit cafe when in Monterey. Place is decorated with ornaments to give it a zen like vibe. Plus the himalayan chais are spot on. Whether be it with family or working individually, please stop by to stay caffeinated!

It’s a very lovely place, the only downside is that I went in to study and well since it’s a coffee shop I thought they would have free wifi but they don’t. So if you want to study or anything that like don’t recommend

Right now a homeless lady has set up camp at one table and the cafe is uninhabitable from the smell. Pre-packaged microwave burritos, a few pastries. Not worth the effort. There are so many good cafes and restaurants within a block or two.

Amazing pastries & diverse food options, delicate and thoughtful lattes, lovely staff and peaceful, welcoming space. East village is the less hectic/non-cliche hipster coffee shop you always dreamed would be walking distance from your house. 10/10 could not recommend a better experience than visiting East Village.

A little disappointing that there is no available WiFi. Quiet areas throughout, never too loud. Overall good environment.
Was told the croissants came from a local bakery- they taste like they’re mass produced. Texture is no good.

I highly recommend East Village for its Great ambiance! It's a few room cool coffee/drink house lounge! Its a perfect place to meet up with old friends, new friends, first dates or solo because your cool like that! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable! Yeah, Its that kind of place. I Luved It!
