Jantz Cafe & Bakery

We love all their baked goods, especially the fresh fruit pies (when in season), kolachys, and sweet potato muffins. Everything has a homemade quality. The chicken salad sandwich was fantastic. The macaroni salad was not very flavorful, but everything else was great.

Our server was very patient and helpful even suggesting refills on drinks before being asked. Lunch was good. Pie was excellent.

2 omelets, a French toast, and 3 sodas cost over $70. The cafe was cramped, the food was mediocre, and the prices were outrageous. The only saving graces for this place is that the staff were courteous and the facility was clean. Will not ever come back.

The food was delicious especially the potato salad! The service was very helpful & friendly! I especially like that the bathroom was nice & clean!!!

Our Waitress was so attentive and helpful with our requests and the food was wonderful! Nice light marbled rye and delicious corned beef in the Ruben. Super yummy!

☄Some really beautiful people run this place as well as the original one in Atwater and the one in Mariposa! Therefore, it stands to reason, that it is a beautiful setting, has delicious, homey, scratch cooked food, and is always clean and welcoming! 🍞

🌞 Pictured - last weekend, duck hunting season opening, my husband was gone so we went wild and bought all the different desserts we were craving from Jantz. Whoa! 🤣

I absolutely love their Chocolate Peanut Butter Cream Pie 🤎 The first time I had this pie was when I was in college at UCM, and they would have these at meetings. Ever since I have been in love with this pie. It literally melts in your mouth, and the taste is incomparable. I also enjoy the Monster cookies. They are so delicious, soft and chewy.

I tried the Cinnamon Swirl French Toast combo with warm Dutch honey. It is so fluffy and tasty. The Dutch honey is my favorite. You need to try their French toast!

The staff is always attentive, friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend!

Food was excellent and our server was great. The hostess was a tad curt for me. She didn't make us feel very welcome.
