Love this place. The coffee. The decor. The vibe. The everything. Simple, cool, and great stuff.

Great service, fantastic bakery. Loved the savory scone, the financier was to die for, and the baguette was a treat.

One note to staff: please learn to make tea. Scalding water ruins any kind of tea. And the advice to steep dragon well for 5 minutes is just wrong. The lovely leaves you sell are turned into a horrible bitter brew this way.

The best coffee spot downtown - every time I stop in for the honey latte, I'm transported to the quiet Oregon roasteries. Coffee should come with a vacation! Pop in, taste the love in their work, and enjoy the vibe.

Don Kim

Friendly staff, large open spaces with high ceiling, usual variety of drinks and pastries, outdoor seating. Dirty Chai with oat milk was slightly ginger forward but the Earl Grey vegan donut was a miss.

This was a great find, while out on a motorcycle ride. Great food, welcoming staff, and excellent ambiance

Been coming here since they opened. The staff has always been great, the atmosphere is beautiful and the coffee is amazing. I love the heart and soul blend. They have donuts, and "muffins", fresh baked local bread, homemade granola, and cold drinks as well. Also great to get as cup and stroll through downtown Martinez.

Love this local coffee shop and the entire ambience. Such a lovely, airy, peaceful place to sit and enjoy sipping coffee. Also love the avocado toast

Amazing non-corporate style cafe. Wish there was a place like this in San Ramon.

I stumbled into this place by accident today and it was a pleasant surprise. There is a nice atmosphere, plenty of space (although we didn't get a seat), and unlike most coffee from California, it was actually quite good. I am shook. I am really looking forward to visiting their other locations.

I walked in and ordered one medium black coffee. After a brief wait the barrista walked up to the pick-up counter holding two identical cups, one in each hand, then sloppily placed them both in front of me calling out my name.
"Thank you, which one is mine?"
I asked politely.
They slowly turned to me and with deep disdain uttered
"They're both coffee...so...."

*Gag*

Try the Starbucks down the street instead.
