Nice shop and great coffee! I got the mocha and it's one of the best I've had. Really rich chocolate and deep coffee roast. I always appreciate the nice presentation with the drink. There's a cozy outdoor sitting area next to the shop.

We really like the rustic places and this place is so beautiful, thoughtfully built. The coffee is perfect !! Loved the Mocha , the Congo cold brew. Such an authentic flavor. And the experience becomes even better when hosts are so friendly. Whenever we stop at Niles that's where we get our coffee going fwd.

Devout is the best. Best coffee. Best service. Best community. They make Niles/Fremont a better place.

I got the Homemade Eggnog Latte. It was amazing! I tried for the first time and it was really good. The taste was quite unique and different. They had free peppermint canes too! The seating area outside was good with string lighting.

Good coffee, but you can wait 20 minutes for a coffee if there's more than a few people inside.

Nice Niles town and tasty cappuccino for a WFH day ;-)

It's a gem. They always have great beans for pour-overs accompanied with delicious cronuts, donuts and other pastry

Winner of Dusty Place in town. The cobwebs make it feel like a haunted house as soon as you walk in. Maybe they havent cleaned since the Charlie Chaplin days? Coffee is ok if you live near by but definitely not a destination. I'm sure they must smile if they recognize you, other wise there will be a hiccup in your order.

Came in here right around closing time. We were in the area and looking for coffee and this place showed up. Good quick service and the coffee was pretty good too. I like the no nonsense feel of this place.

I love this place! They are serious about coffee. Today I had their seasonal (summer) drink which was cold brew concentrate, brown sugar and salted caramel cream. Oh to die for! The cream is foamy and salty, smooth and cool. It's iced. The cold brew concentrate works perfectly because it retains the strength and distinctive taste even though there's cream in it. The sweetening was quite light.

I loved it. I took it to go so I put a lid on it and drank it with a straw. It would have been better sipping it from the open cup. This sort of drink is meant to be enjoyed from the top down, not the bottom up, like when you drink something with a straw. You don't get the saltiness of the cream otherwise.

Starbucks makes a very similar drink, the ingredients are the same but not! Everything Devout uses is infinitely better and their baristas really know what they're doing.

Now the bad part...it's as expensive as you would expect, actually probably more so! The drink I described was 6oz, including ice. That leaves about 3-4oz of drink. It was $3.75. It seems like a reasonable price until you see the cup!

It's definitely worth it! But I wouldn't get it very often. That's what makes a treat special, though!
