(1) I ordered latte and scones for about 10 USD (2) Their latte is always perfect and I love their scones! (3) The place had a nice atmosphere; however, their seats were not very comfortable. The air conditioner was always full blasts everytime I visited the place. (4) Staff are usually very friendly.

Great coffee and friendly service
Update for 2022, still a consistent and tasty cup over the years I've been coming here. Turned in quite a few coffee bean cards, too. Highly recommended.

Good coffee, consistent roasting. Check the roasting date on coffee - I've seen they can be 7+ days old, so unless you are drinking within a week, don't get more than one bag.

There is usually a sense of peace and calm at Temple Coffee Roasters, which is funny because we don't usually associate peace and calm with caffeine. But it just is. The coffee here is very good, too! It is clean and light inside, and the smell of coffee is strong. A nice ppl ace to take a few minutes out of your day .

The coffee here is always exceptional, and the baristas behind the counter really know their stuff & are able to give really great recommendations / info about their beans to make sure your coffee is exactly what you want (plus their merch is SO cute)

If you want fancy coffee, this is the best place in town. However, if you just want a quick cheap cup of drip, there are better options. Temple often has a short line, but it's worth the wait for their pour over and other specialty coffees.

Probably the most quality coffee in town. Baristas seem to know there stuff fairly well, but its pretty pricey for a cup of coffee. Yes they brew it well, and it's probably very quality roster and such, but my average for a non-espresso drink is $4-$5, a price point at which your paying for premium experience as much as quality.

Nice atmosphere in a well designed space. Plenty of seating around the perimeter. The coffee and espresso are delicious. Service could be faster, but things should open up after the initial business rush dies down.

Good coffee but why do you use a paper cup and then pour into my reusable cup and throw that away. Defeats the purpose of me bringing my own cup.
I pay extra to support sustainable business but this sort of thing makes me think they don’t have that going on. Reusable cup concept is pretty simple, so this was disappointing if you care about sustainability from somewhere that fronts as a business that does too.

The Sacramento-based roaster’s Davis outpost is beautiful and serves up excellent coffee (as to be expected). Good attention to COVID-19 precautions and plenty of outdoor seating provided.
