$7 for a frozen, watery, microwaved burrito
Edit: the owner responded really quickly to my review and I gave them another try today. The bagel with tomatoes and cucumbers was beautiful and delicious! Thank you for working to improve customer satisfaction.

My bestie took me here because this is her fave coffee shop in Davis. If I lived there too, it’d probably be my fave!
Literally so many options for amazing sounding drinks. Lots of milk alternatives to choose from too.
I got the Aztec Mocha as a frappe and it legit tasted like Mexican hot chocolate. So good.
They have a points system where you can earn rewards. The indoor and outdoor seating are very nice too!

Excellent service.. latte was awesome felt better than Starbucks. It was around dollar costly.

This place is absolutely wonderful, by far my favorite coffee shop in davis and one of my favorites of all time. I recommend their seasonal drinks (pictured are pumpkin chais and a pumpkin matcha) they are absolutely wonderful! Employees all nice and really take care on your drinks :) love this placeeeeee

When I was in college at UCD, I lived in the apartments across from this shopping complex and discovered this gem of a coffee shop my senior year. It is open relatively late, which works well in a college town and also has the best hot chocolate for a late night study pick-me-up. I would take the bus home from class/my job on campus and get off right in front of the shopping complex and easily study for a bit or hang out with my roommates in a comfy space. It might not be the most aesthetic coffee shop I've ever frequented, but the good memories I had here definitely make it a must-revisit spot when my college friends and I meet up in nearby Sacramento. Highly recommend for any student in South Davis as it was a convenient and underrated coffee/hang out/study spot!

Stopped on our way between SF and Sacramento because of the great reviews, but we were sorely disappointed. The cappuccino was terrible (surmise the machine needs a good cleaning), the drip coffee was nothing special, and the muffin was stale.

The staff is always friendly, the drinks are always yummy (and they have a great variety as well), and the music they play is great! They have couches and offer free wi-fi, a patio area, tall ceilings, and plug-ins for your iPhone, android, as well as extension cords. I love Common Grounds and consistently travel from the other side of Davis when I know I have work to get done and need a safe, comfy place to do it! It's also so helpful that they're open to 6 PM for those of us who tend to stay till the end of the day. Anyways, check out Common Grounds, you won't be disappointed!

Lovely coffee shop with friendly staff. Great place to read or do some laptop work. Nice outdoor patio with shade umbrellas. So much better than the chains.

I went in on a triple digit day just to wait while my wife had a manicure nearby. I was practically the only person there. After about 10 minutes I asked about using wi-fi and was told that it was for paying customers only. I thought okay, it doesn't cost them anything and it's called goodwill but whatever. I wondered how long they would let me sit there which was answered in about 5 minutes when another non paying customer and I were told to leave. I think there was one other person in the store. I asked why and was told I hadn't bought anything and that they were a family-owned business. I said I was sitting in an otherwise unoccupied chair, only breathing the air, and how did that cost them anything. They said I was trespassing on private property and would call the police if I didn't leave immediately. I make a point to avoid Starbucks and the big box stores and shop locally-owned but Common Grounds is dead to me.

This store should not allow pets inside. Today one dog was vomiting🤢🤮 I will take a picture next time and upload it.
