They have a lavender vanilla latte that is yummy. They are a bit over priced, my almond milk lavender latte was $6.66. However, they are very friendly and attentive. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They can get very crowded when the students are around but in summer it is spacious and quiet.

What a refreshing change from my usual. This coffee shop has a welcoming ambience, and as a bike rider, I enjoyed the theme. It also has a book share. I will visit again when in that neighborhood.

The owner really needs to have 3 people on when it's a busier shift. The servers were doing the best they could but you could tell how poorly set up they were for a rush, which is frustrating as a customer (and former barista). Also the Chile Verde burrito was ridiculously wet 🤨 it left a puddle in my lap
I would love to come back here and have a better experience because the vibe and the food were otherwise great.

This coffee shop is great in every way. The atmosphere matches that of a normal coffee shop, and the music varies with time but isn't too loud/intrusive (though I'd personally prefer to have it a little quieter still). The place has cushioned seats that aren't usually all taken up and the wifi works well, and there are plenty of outlets too, though they aren't as well distributed as one would like. It also has two areas to eat and an extra one outside so you can go to a more social or more work-oriented environment. It has nice restrooms and is quite clean, the menu is large and delicious with some unique drinks as well. It also has a board game or a few if I remember correctly. The service is satisfactory and quite prompt, though there isn't a convenient area to stand/sit while you're awaiting your order to be filled, and the entire place is generally in the mid-tier of cleanliness.
So in general I'd definitely recommend this place and it's my favorite study place in Davis atm.

Clean. Plenty of seating. Great for students getting their caffeine fix and a place to focus on studying. Staff are polite and have a smile. Doesn't seem anywhere as rushed as Starbucks typically is. Support the small businesses and not the chain stores!

I just moved away Davis and one of the reasons I'm so sad is because of Common Grounds. The cold brew was hands down the best I've had, beating Temple or any of the other fancier places in the area (in my opinion, obviously; I prefer low-acidity coffee where you almost feel like you're drinking the grounds). There is a lot of seating, including couches and comfy chairs which I love. The people are all super nice, and it's a good place to do work because it's not overwhelmingly loud.

Great local coffee shop with nice staff and a clean and spacious area to sip your coffee and read. Outdoor seating is available as well. Seems very popular with the UC Davis students I am assuming because looking around I appeared to be the only person over 40 and not studying the newst theories on genetics, physics, or calculs. Still a nice place to spend some time and support a local business.

Nice place, friendly people, mediocre cold brew drinks. Tasted yesterday’s iced coffee. Peets is better

Great local coffee shop to start my day. Coffee is good, pastries are good. Only 4 star because of a very mediocre berry muffin experience one day. It's my regular place - better than Starbucks.

Very quiet and easy to concentrate on my work. The coffee is good. There are comfortable padded chairs as well as wooden straight back chairs. The background music makes it easier to ignore others conversation.
