To sum this place up simply it feels like an Apple store that became a coffee shop. The utilization of space and the general design aesthetic resonates similarly to that of contemporary jewelers and luxury brands--sharp defined angles, smooth white stone, light wood accents, and small pops of greenery. It's a bizarre feel for a coffee shop, but the drinks are delicious and the staff is friendly.

They have great pastries and I really like the hot chocolate

Super rude manager and not ecologically friendly!!! This people put the AC to the max, so they can make customers go away because they get cold. California power grid is about to collapse (several emergency messages have been sent), but this people just blow their AC all day long with no remorse. When I asked the manager if they could lower it, she just said "I can't touch it," then she scoffed, and walked away.
If you care about the environment and want to have a good service, stay away from here.

One of the greatest quality Latte's I've ever had. Muffins are also good. Staff are nice, the only reason I'm giving 4 stars in stead of 5 is that coffee and pastry is very expensive compared to similar cafes. It should read $$$ on the google instead of SS!

I used to come to this location all the time before the pandemic, so this is my first visit in over a year. They're still great! All the coffee fixings are behind the bar now, so you have to ask for sugar (which I didn't realize until it was too late) but I'm pleased to report that the iced Citrus black tea is perfect without any sweetener! Lovely place to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather.

Absolutely the best coffee in town! I was helping my UC Davis student move into their apartment and stopped by every day. By my fourth visit they knew my order when I walked in the door. The barista‘s were friendly and made an amazing latte. I was there during Covid and felt perfectly safe. Kudos to the staff and the management.

Freshly brewed, piping hot coffee at Temple Coffee Roasters.. just made my day. It’s a bustling place with great coffee varieties and amazing hosts behind the counter.

Top notch coffee, very clean and not acidic. The flavor is pleasantly smooth and not bitter.
The atmosphere has a relaxing vibe, but it is not comfortable to sit in especially if you are sitting relaxing with company. The seating space throughout the cafe is not roomy. Basically all seating are long narrow tables with hard narrow wooden bar stool. On each side of the benches. Outdoor seating is more individualized and private seating.

Love the Davis location, great vibes, trying their 15 year anniversary blend! Notes of cranberry and crème brûlée 👌 ☕️ 😄

The employees are always super nice here. I’ve always loved Temple coffee ever since its start in Sacramento. I was excited to see one in Davis. I’m not a huge coffee drinker anymore so I enjoy their selection of teas and Non-coffee drinks. I recommend the enlightenment or Mexican hot chocolate.
